Rebel's Diary

My body is so starchy carb intolerant! Getting your pool & back yard back in action will be good. Hope you can soon :)

Don't get discouraged. It can be tricky trying to figure out what works best for you. I think we've all played around and adjusted and tweaked what we're doing about 1000 times.

I know I have. Sometimes it's like playing pin the tail on the donkey in a huge room with a 50 kg weight on the flimsiest pin so even when you do finally find the ass the tail will fall off before you even remove your blindfold. But it's still worth it, because life is so much better on a proper diet (not even talking about weight at this point).

How are you feeling, hon?
Umm doing ok. Been fighting off some major sweet cravings. The kind that tells you not to eat, so late a night you could have a huge ice cream sunday :(
It hasnt happend and it wont ohh but it would be sooooo good.

And afterward you'd feel sooo crappy...
Hang in there buddy, and maybe consult with a dietician (again) if you have that option available. It may be time for new motivation. We're rooting for you! :grouphug::grouphug::grouphug:

We are on your team Rebel. It does sound like time to bring in some reinforcements if you can. It is SO important to eat well, not only for your physical health but also your mental health. We need a good balance of protective, nutrient-dense foods. These foods include fresh fruits, vegetables, legumes, whole grains, lean meats, cold-water fish, eggs, low-fat dairy, soy products, and nuts and seeds. These foods not only provide the levels of nutrients necessary to maintain good health and prevent disease but eating a well-balanced "diet" also makes you feel better.
Have you been eating any fresh fruit rebel? I find it fixes my sweets cravings. A nice juicy nectarine or some mango.......yum! Take care my friend & please look after yourself xo Cate

I dont eat a lot of fruit because of the natural sugars. I have been adding in more.

I wasnt hungry today so nothing for breakfast or lunch but went out for mexican for dinner. Calories, way way covered.

You´ll get there, hon. You have so much to gain from taking good care of your body, but it´s definitely a long-term commitment. I´m trying to remind myself of that today...

Everything is going pretty well. I guess the only bad thing is that i havent been eating much.
I've been nursing a killer toothache. It flairs up from time to time and i make an appointment to c a dentist and the pain stops. Weird really but anyway i went to the whole sale meat market. Everything is in huge packages so i have enough meat for awhile.

Everything went ok today. Well i totally blew my carbs. But it was because of fruit juice fruit cups cottage cheese with fruit topping stuff. Did i mention i was craving fruit today ;)
The spagetti dinner didnt help but ah well....

If that was fresh fruit it probably didn´t do much harm. Juice is another beast entirely, especially in terms of insulin reaction.

Fresh fruit is way better than any fruit juice Rebel.
