Rebel's Diary

Hey Rebel!

Great to see that you are still working on your goals! How is it going? Making progress?

Not a bad day. Feeling decent for the first time in a few weeks.

That's great! Do you know why you feel good now, and do you know why you didn't feel good for the last weeks? Just curious, not trying to act like a psychologist :p.

Brrr! To each their own, of course, but just the THOUGHT of that much cafeine gives me palpitations :D

Double yay for better days!
Quad *eek* for quad coffee!
How's your ticker Rebel?
Hey stranger....
Ticker is just fine. Im a caffeine junkie so that much at once isnt a big deal.
Only i didnt get much sleep lastnight.
I can't imagine why ;)

Yea still making progress. I get a weight loss stall every once in awhile but nothing major.
The feeling bad is just because i have Bipolar 1. I came off my meds awhile back because of major weight gain. I stopped gaining but the mood swings are unpredictable. So every two weeks or maybe a month or so i get slammed with depression x10. It's a work in progress.
Hey i can always use another psychiatrist ;)

I spent the past few days with my daughter, she is in her second year of college and deals with depression & anxiety. I go up there about every three weeks or so to just hit the reset button...clean, laundry, go with her to guidance or therapy appointments, whatever is needed to get back to an even keel.

Living life with mental/emotional struggles is not easy - there's no easy answers and sometimes it truly is one day at a time.

Were you able to get some walking in?

Its an interesting journey.
Walking not much since cutting the grass last week. About three days of just following the mower around the yard. This week not much. Been working on the motorcycle. Cleaning and polishing changing the battery just stuff like that. So been moving more just nothing that could b considered exercise.

Had some orange juice for breakfast and blew my carbs; trying to stay below 50. I really need to find a lower carb juice.......orange.....that ain't it.
:(

My motorcycle has been down since before the winter and finally got it running.
Now feeling very Victor Frankensteinish.
It's alive..........

Not much of an appetite today. Exercise; not much just piddled around the yard.

Breakfast- Scrambled eggs; 4 eggs, 4 oz egg whites, onion, mild green chilies, orange juice. (509 calories)
(Mean ole carbs) :(

Lunch- grilled calf liver, green beans. (370 calories)

Dinner- ground turkey throw together. (402 calories)

Yeah, orange juice is basically soda in disguise. All juices are, with the possible exception of papaya (but I´ve never heard of papaya juice). That´s why people like juice so much.
Yay for bike progress!

How was your day, my friend?
Long.....
My doctor wanted to see me to pull some vitals. She found out I've been so dizzy and lightheaded because my blood pressure was only 82/51..... So way low. With the big drop in weight my blood pressure meds are way too strong so she reworked them.
The bipolar stuff ill be taking the haldol more often. Lighter dose more often to help the stuff I've been dealing with.
The diet stuff im going to start taking the adipex to cut my appetite and sweet cravings but she wants me to try to keep calories at least 1500 a day. So long day.
But going good.

Long day, but it sounds like it could really pay off. Having a more normal blood pressure again, maybe having an easier time dealing with your bipolar and getting rid of the cravings? That would be one hell of a successful doctor´s visit!
