Hi my name is Katie and I am 19 years old and I weigh 155 pounds and hope to be about 105-110. I have been lurking this website for a while now but have yet to have guts to put up my pictures . But seeing everyone have the courage to do kinda gave me a little push.
I have decided to get my life in order not just for the physical aspect of it but for my health. I am now trying to work out about 2-3 times a week in the gym doing cardio an hour to 2 hours. I have also got a personal pilates trainer that I am going to be meeting with 2x a week for about an hour. And to everyone who is looking to loose that last couple of pounds or start toning your body after a loosing weight, pilates is the best way to go. After my first class with my trainer i used muscles that i did not know I even had.
I am going to try and take pictures about every two weeks and post them on so you guys can see my progress. In my pictures I am wearing a bathing suite just because I think it shows of the things I need to work on the most .

Don't be nervous! We're all in the same boat here! Those pictures are not bad at all, and I bet after only a few lbs you are going to see a major difference. Cause heck, you look great as it is to me! :)

It sound's like you are really on track, wish I had the time to get a trainer! Can't wait for follow up pics. Good luck!

I am 5'2" and started at 164. I'm down to 144 as of July 6th! However I am built a bit differently, so I'm aiming for a goal of 125-130lbs. I can't wait to see your progrees!!

Nothing to be scared about! like mentioned before everyone comes toghether to help not to critisise...go for it girl

:waving:Hi there! Good job on getting your before pics posted. They will be an inspiration to many people as you shrink! Hopefully the comments you've already received help you to know that you are already starting off at a pretty good point. You will look smokin' hot :sifone: at your goal!

Best wishes on the journey

i'm an inch taller than u and about 10 pounds lighter, and i'd say I look pretty much the same as u bodyshape wise, only ur slightly luckier than me in where u carry weight :)

You should update soon? me thinks.

So basically my body looks almost EXACTLY like yours...I have some good assets in the upper body justl ike you, only I have about 7 inches on you. I'm 5'8" 215 lbs. currently. I just started my journey..i'd like to see your progress, might give a scope as to what I coudl eventually look like.

hey everyone !!!

so i realized that it has been more than a year since i last wrote on here. I lost about 5 pounds in the summer of 2007 but gained it back when i went back to college. This time around though I am taking things seriously. I started working out about 2 months ago and I am now 140 pounds. I will post pictures as soon as possible. I have at least another 30 pounds to go but 15 is already a start. What i started doing it working out at least 45 minutes a day in the gym , try not eating after 7pm and no junk food . I think the first time i had soda in 2 months was this Saturday at a block part. I think the key to loosing weight and keeping it off is doing it slowly and really changing your lifestyle. Eating healthy and exercise should not be done just when dieting but should be how you live your life. If you eat healthy and exercise but stop when you see results you will gain it all back. Trust me I am talking from experience. Hopefully I will have picture to put up tomorrow.
