Hi everyone,
I am new to this site as I was trying to find a great place to offer me support. I think I have came to the right place in just reading the threads.
Here is my post that I did in the introduction forum just in case any one didnt see it and wants to read about me:
Hi everyone,
I am new here and wanted to introduce myself. I found this site while I was looking around for a support group that will actually "support me".
A bit about myself:
I am 32 and a mom of four. Yup I did say four! LOL. I have a daughter (taylor) who will be 10 in January, Mikayla who will be 8 in April. My only son, JT, who will be 3 in January and my last daughter Madison who will be 1 in January as well.
I am done having children. We wanted four and we got that now time to let them grow up and spend as much time with them as I can. And now to concentrate on me!!
My husband and I are big Georgia Bulldog fans. I also love to play tennis and just spending time with my family. I enjoy a few good margaritas from time to time and visiting the beach.
I use to be very skinny, in shape, and big into sports and the gym. Then I got lazy for some reason and the pounds just keep creeping up on me. Right now I weigh 161 lbs but I am only 4'11" tall so on me it shows that I am really over weight.
I am determined to reach my goal weight of 120 by June 1st. I know I can do it. I just need support to help me get through the bad days, the good days, and everything in between. So hopefully I am at the right place. The kick in the pants to get started was when my son grabbed my "growing double chin" this weekend and went "gooble gobble gobble". That was it. I was embarressed and was determined to set a great example for my kids. So tomorrow I start the gym as I had to go in and sign up today and my diet starts as well.
My problem areas will be:
Quitting the sodas. I LOVE COKE and I HATE water. Any suggestions?
Cardio - I hate it. I love lifting weights but I hate cardio. I will just have to push myself through it and hopefully I will come to grips with it.
So that is me in a nut shell. I hope to be around for a really long time to come. And I look forward to getting to know everyone here.
Thanks!
Traci

So tomorrow is the start of day 1. I am starting at 161 pounds. I plan on taking my measurements and before pictures tomorrow.
I have 187 days to reach my goal of 120 pounds. I know I can do it it is just a matter of sticking to what I set as my weekly / monthly / and even daily goals.
So tomorrow morning at 5:30 I will be dragging myself out of bed and heading to the gym to start my journey. Wish me luck! I will post my day tomorrow as I go along. I will also post my foods that I have planned for the day.
Oh and I am not on any "program". I am doing a weight lifting / cardio routine and I am just eating 1200-1300 calories a day.
I CAN DO THIS! I WILL SUCCEED!!
Here is the that success!
Thanks,
Traci

I was out the door at 5:45 to head to my gym. I work about 30 minutes from my house, and we have a special deal with the gym only 1 mile away. Since I have to come to work, I joined that gym. It was at a price I could not pass up anyways. Plus they are building a gym just like it about 4 miles from my house so when it is built I can visit that one free of charge since it is in my area so I couldnt pass it up.
so I am on my way!!
