I haven't taken any measurements since I signed up for the gym when they took my initial measurements. And yes, I have seen fitness gains. I have more endurance, I have upped my speeds on the treadmill. And I played a 50 minute basketball game today without dying.
So yes, I see fitness improvements, but I'm not seeing anything physical and the scale is being a butthead. So its just frustrating. I realized the other day though, that I'm eating a lot of yogurt and it has a large amount of sugars in it. So now I'm wondering if maybe that has something to do with slowing the weight loss. So I guess I'll just have to play around with my foods and see if I can get back on the right track.
I haven't totally given up yet... just beyond frustrated. I played a 50 minute basketball game today, ran a lap with my students, and did my 30 minute circuit room and 30 minutes on the treadmill at the gym today. So I got a good amount of exercise in today.
I'm still goin. I've finally started getting used to eating better and I haven't eaten out in quite some time. I feel better about my lifestyle even if I'm not seeing any scale movement.
Life goes on right?
