I am in the process of choosing a certification that best suits me. I am a little confused about CEC's. Do you have to earn your continuing education credits through programs, workshops, seminars, etc. that your certification organization hosts? In other words, if I am ACSM certified, can I attend an ACE provided workshop and still earn CEC's to go towards my certification?
