Boat cruise?
Well, um, where to start...
ok, we had great weather, saw lots of wildlife, and then, about an hour and a half in,...
BAM! I and the rest of the people on the boat went flying. I rolled and managed to protect everything that was important, but still scraped my elbow. Imediately my first thought was, ok, we've run aground, or have hit a rock. It was the latter. The boat hit a rock that was just about foot and a half under the surface of the water. As soon as I knew that I wasn't injured, I got up and made sure everyone else stayed down and that they were alright. Then, as the boat moved around, we hit it again, I think 2 more times as the captain tried to get us off of the rock.
Eventually we got off, and then they had us put our life jackets on and stay seated. Then, as we were close to shore, we went to the nearest mooring, and unloaded off of the boat. The medics and firemen came, and took 10 students away. Only three I think were actually injured, but the rest were just precautionary.
All in all it was a very memorable trip, and I will have a story to tell!
