FIRST TIME FIRST PLACE!!!
First time.. FIRST PLACE!!!!
The boys won today after a wonderfully played game. I'm so proud of them!

And we went to Dick's Drive-In to celebrate....
And I only had a cheeseburger.I did order a kid's cone, but gave it to my little brother. I'm proud of myself.

So yesterday was great. I ate well, and got to see my horse!
Now I have to decide whether or not to go to Prom. (without a date) I've never been to any of the highschool dances, so this would be my first time doing it. I have to decide by 6th period today, cause today's the last day for ticket sales.

you're still a junior right? so this isn't your last year of high school and your last prom - so it's really not as special as the senior prom...
but id still say go with your friends as a group and have a good time and pick out the people who will be shacking up that night and make fun of them
or plan a prom event outside fo theprom - go bowling, go to the beach, have a fun night with your pals...

Well.. I went and bought the ticket...
omgosh... I have no idea what i'm doing. I NEVER do things like this. It's a strange feeling.
AND I hate dress shopping. Though, I can wear a 15 dress size that gets around my waist and still have room. BUT my chest is too big for all of the dresses that I tried on today. It's rather discouraging...

I've had one pretty frustrating day.
Agreeing to go to prom, not being able to find a dress, annoying rude people in choir, long drives to volleyball, having to set all practice and not get to hit, having my sister being better than me at yet another thing, and on top of that, I have a nasty headache..
thankfully this is a nice place to rant.
*takes a deep breath*
Ok, i'm a little better now. I'm going to head to bed soon, then try and get some sleep. (have to wake up at 5 tomorrow morning.) ugh..

well.
I found a dress. BUT only if it's still there today. It was on clearence so I couldn't have them hold it...*crosses fingers*
But it's blue and a size 15. Which is nice. It's long and it gives me a waist. a nice waist.
I'll post pics after prom, I promise!
oh and I weighed in at 190 this morning...I'm so close to that 189!
volleyball practice tonight!

well...I bought the dress...and the shoes. It's official, I'm going...
AND the friend that really really wanted me to go, and I went to kind of be her support?
she backed out.

Oh well, I'll still go and have a fabulous time. BUT I don't have to stay the entire time.

Oh Xorie I'm so happy you are going to your prom. You absolutely deserve to get dressed up and go out dancing with friends. No date? GOOD FOR YOU! Really, I've gone to so many functions, including one prom, dateless and it's never had a negative effect on my evening. I completely agree that you should absolutely organize some sort of outing with a couple friends for after the dance. Honestly, that's the best part in my opinion. Feeling fabulous with friends does wonders for a girl's self esteem. Also, describe the dress and shoes, and what are you doing with your hair? Please......I can't experience this anymore, my little sister refuses to go to prom, she thrives on being a tomboy. I want a mental picture! I'm really excited for you.
Also what a great job on passing over the ice cream. You're doing great Xorie, with Volleyball and everything, almost summer time for you right? Have a nice weekend

Lukewarm(I'm gonna copy what you do to address people. it's efficient and it works. ) I'll post pics after prom, but I can tell you the dress is a light blue (The theme is "Under the Deep Blue Sea" There are some sequins and sparkly stuff on the front, the bodice comes to a point at my collar bone and two straps go from the point of the dress and around my shoulders. It's a full length and poofy. D) and it zips up to my lower back, then there are three ties, leaving my back open.
The shoes are a goldish silver color and have a 2 1/2 " wedge and straps around the upper ankle.
I'm actually going to get highlights in my hair for this, (not telling mom though, cause it's gonna be a surprise! Pray she doesn't kill me!) then it's going to be swept up into a messy kind of bun, then lose strands around my face that is going to be curled. And maybe some sparklies in my hair.

Well, I'm still at 190 today. I really like looking at that number on the scale. But you know what? I'd like looking at 189 a heck of a lot better!
Going to the horses today, then having a baking party at my house for the bake sale to promote E.R.A on Saturday.
Breakfast: 1 small bagel w/ honey nut cream cheese
Snack: 1 package trail mix

Oh I am having a great day.
I'm eating well, and I got to go to the horses. It was amazing. I was with Sara as we were trying to put Cece and Jessie back in their stalls from thier little turnout area, and Sara is trying and trying to get Jessie back into her stall, and Jessie is running away, moving away, refusing to get into her stall. So I say, "Let me try." And I go up to Jessie, say, "Come on Jessie a'ghara, lets go."
And she follows me right into the stall. <3 I love Jessie.
Prom tomorrow! I still can't belive I'm going!
