Reaching For the Dreams....

Being able to be satisfied with half is a HUGE NonScaleVictory! Good for you Xorie!!

Glad to hear you're feeling better!

Ok, I was bad yesterday. You see, I gave up mexica food for Lent....

my family LOVES mexican food.

So, yesterday, I got my mexican food fix. :D I went to taco bell during lunch, then I came home and found that my mom had made burritos... I ate much too much...And that's bad. So i'm going to be super good for the rest of the challenge. And I WILL lose at least 8lbs during this challenge... I've just kinda hit a wall, and being stressed about Mark is not helping anything at all...

Anyway, Foxes, i won't let you down!

Ok, so I was ok today, not great, but not horrible.

had a breakfast burrito for breakfast,
turkey sandwich for lunch
and a peanut butter tortilla for a snack.
Not really hungry for dinner, so I might have some yougurt and grapenuts

Remember this: You lost 34 lbs so far. I just want to remind you that's a lot of effort.

Stay steady forum child ;) You're doing just fine.

It's true Xorie, you're doing great. I really don't think there was anything wrong with your diet today. Pssh, when I fall off my diet, I fall hard. It must be extremely difficult trying to focus on your weight loss when you are also thinking of Mark. I am incapable of paying attention to more than one task at a time. At the moment, I'm useless at work, useless to my friends, and pretty useless with school, but I'm doing great with my diet :p haha. I just have to find my groove with this whole thing and you sound as though you are balancing the aspects of your life beautifully. You are doing really well. I know you'll make your goal.

Breakfast: 1 bowl of POPS cereal: 298 cals
granola bar and small bag of low fat gardettos: 280 cals total
Lunch: small turkey quesadilla 500 or so cals
Snack: Yogurt: 120 cals
Snack: apple: 90 cals
Dinner: ??

and and update on Mark.

HE'S HOME! He's officially done with both radiation and chemo. He is absorbing the nutrients through his feeding tube at the right rate, and, this morning, he was able to sip water for the first time in weeks. Keep the prayers coming, because he wants to be strong enough by April 28th to take his girlfriend to the prom. He's already got his tux (a silver and black one) and is really excited about going out and doing something.

Thanks everyone for the prayers! It's working!

I've finally lost a pound. I'm down to 193... (guess I should change my ticker...)

Ate pretty badly today.. bowl of corn chex for breakfast, blueberry muffin for lunch

a very small piece of pizza while at the barn, and 3 sugar cookies

Then, chili when I got home....

wow..I was so bad today, but I blame it on TOM...I've been craving fatty bad for me things sooooo badly today.... lol.

Ugh. WASL (Washington Assessment of Student Learning) test today...bleargh... It's the math one. BUT it was a lot easier than I thought it would be. Have to do the second part tomorrow, but other than that, I'm good.

Had a bowl of honey nut shredded wheat this morning.

Snack was a small can of apple juice and a granola bar. (the school provided them.)

Have a volleyball practice tonight. Should be fun, and lots of calories shall be burned! :D

Congrats on losing that pound Xorie - remember, it's one pound at a time!

Enjoy VB practice tonight :)

Hey, Xorie. I haven't had time to read back through your diary, but I am rooting for your weightloss...specially since we are both Foxes:p

Congrats on the one pound. I try to tell myself that losing one pound is all it takes to weigh less!

Ok, lunch was a bowl of trail mix grapenuts with orange flavored craisens.(Yum!)

I also had a few slices of cheese, and a slice of turkey about an hour and a half later.

Volleyball's in 2 hours, so I'm done eating for today, maybe something small at the end of the night, just for sustinance.

Oh my goodness, oh my goodness...

I Think that i'm going to die...

I just got back from a VERY intensive volleyball practice. My arms feel like noodles, and my abs hurt, and my left buttcheek hurts everytime I take a step.

ouch...

BUT, This is REALLy going to help me lose the weight again. If I just eat right, then, BAM, the weight's just going to fall off. So, it makes me happy. :D

Dinner was a small serving of my grandma's chili. It was good, and I only put a little bit of cheese on it.

oh man, sooo sore today.

I could barely lift my arms to brush my hair this morning. That's how bad I hurt. :D

Breakfast: 1 bowl of corn chex
