I was good today! Go me! and in an hour I'm going running. I can't wait! And for celebration, I painted my toenails! Now their pretty and red! :D :D :D!!!
 
Oh my gosh!!!! I just got back from running??? And I just ran a mile...

7min 28sec!!!!!!!!!

WOW!!! I shaved min and a half off my last time. I was running with a friend, and there were a few people out there as well, and I wanted to challenge myself, and I tried passing people by certain points around the track, and i did, making myself run a lot faster than normal. When Stephenie (my new running buddy) told me 5:20 as I started my final lap, I was astounded. my first thought was she read it wrong, and it was 6, or even 8 min, but she yelled out my time as i passed my finish line, and it was 7:28. My jaw just about hit the floor. I was estastic. And it felt really good.

I can't wait until tryouts when I come in first and Burgland (the coach) looks at her stop watch in surprise when it reads 7 min. :D :D :D!!!!
 
Well, didn't get to run yesterday, but I did play volleyball and swim in a friend's pool for about three hours yesterday. and I have the sunburn to prove it...:rolleyes:

Had a bagel with cream cheese for breakfast, and a PB&J for lunch. (I resisted the hotdogs again, even after pulling the out! *points and laughs at hotdogs* So there!) Going to go running for sure today, and, on a happier note, a friend let me have a pair of her pants, and the tag says, 13!!! I was completely positive that they wouldn't fit....


but you know what??

I'm WEARING THEM RIGHT NOW! AIYE! they are stretch jeans, yes, but i didn't think that my thighs would be able to fit in them, but they do, and i'm happy. I haven't been in a pair of jeans that say "13" for a loooooooong time. *does another happy jig*

Got back in from running. Ran a mile an a half today. Not bad. wasn't going for a time, just chugging a long! :) Ate well today. hoping to see a weight change soon. I've been doing some strength training stuff, so my muscle is building, but I'm hoping that with the added running, I'm going to start dropiing again soon.

and I hope that by September 15th (my b-day) I can go shopping for some new clothes!
 
ugh... the dang scale won't move! It's teasing me, wanting to, but it doesn't. I want to be able to say that I weigh LESS than 199, but it won't let me say it! i've been eating right and exercising. So hopefully this is just muscle building, and the fat will start rolling away soon.

Don't worry about that scale, it WILL drop! Especially with all the excercising you're getting in!

WTG with the size 13! That is VERY exciting - and certainly more telling then the scale ;)
 
Thanks m2m. I know, I just felt like whining...:rolleyes: :p Off to a mini abs workout. AKA, voice lessons. I have to sing something from the messiah, (i swear my teacher does it to torture me! :D ) And it's such an ab workout if you do it correctly by using your diaphramg! I'll check in a later too. Oh, and I've only eaten a bowl of cereal today, so so far i'm doing well. :)
 
ok, had a pb&j for lunch (I think i'm addicted! lol) and a serving of spaghetti for dinner. Other than that, that's all i've eaten today. I've had water, and iced tea, and i'm going running again today. I'm even hoping to get my mom to look into buying a tread mill so that I don't have to drive to the track everyday, because I still am not self confident enough to go running around our neighboorhood where everyone can see me! I'm not quite ready for that yet! But hopefully soon!
 
I have a tread mill....which I lent to my sister about a year ago and I doubt I'll ever see again but anyway...I liked walking on it. I know how you feel about feeling like everyone's watching you. Even at the gym I can't look at people or else I blush. :)
 
Just thought of something. I want to lose 12bls by the time school starts in September. (don't know the actual date though, :))

Then I thought, if I do that, I'll be 187... that's 2 lbs lighter than what my driver's license says! *does happy dance* I figured when I got it that the officer would only see my top half if I actually got pulled over. :D (and I'm clean of the cops, and I've been driving for a year and a half now! Go me! :) )
 
AHHH!! I've gained a pound! *sigh* What's going on? I don't know. Maybe it's just water weight, I did drink A LOT yesterday, so hopefully that's it.

Had mini wheats for breakfast, and a little bit of leftover spaghetti for lunch. The hard part of today is going to be going to the wedding reception where there is going to be a TON of food around. Pray for me people!
 
I did so well at the reception, people noticed! These are long time friends, and a lot of people commented on my weight loss, and my will at not eating a ton of the yummy food, (and they had these AMAZING swedish meatballs) I had a small plate, with some salad, a single piece of veggie pizza, 2 of the little swedish meatballs, some pasta salad stuff, and then a tiny piece of peperoni pizza (and it was seriously tiny) lol. So, I think i did ok! Then I came home and played half an hour of tennis with my friend until it was too dark to see the ball anymore!
