Reaching For the Dreams....

ok, Had 2 packets of oatmeal for breakfast
snack was a lemon creme wafer thingy
Lunch was a kids cheeseburger and abou 10 fries and water. (it was the first burger i've had in about 5 months, and it tasted reaally good. :D

Half day today, so I'm home at 11:20, which is really nice. Going to the horses today, then on to the retreat for choir and band this weekend. It's going to be fun! and my first time to canada! :D

Hi Xorie

:p Chicken burritos sound so good. Breakfast of champions ;) I wake up craving non-breakfast food in the morning ALL the time, and at night I'll want breakfast. We're rebels.

The retreat sounds great, what exactly will you guys be doing while your away? Have fun with your horses. Ugh I'm so jealous! ;)

haha oh yeah! Nice to see that left buttcheek is getting a workout again!

Okay, so I'm back. Actually I got back this morning at about 12:30. Why you ask? Because someone stole $238, a Gucci wallet, and a Coach wallet on the first night...Oh man oh man, are we upperclassmen pissed off. A bunch of us are very very worried that the administration will not let us come back next year. We shall see..

Other than that... I was a bad bad bad girl... I was so bad I don't even want to talk about it. Ice cream, hot dogs, cookies, chips, no pop, so there's a small victory, and other crap thrown in here and there...

I played a little bit of volleyball, but couldn't do it for more than 10 min with people who had no idea what they were doing, didn't go for the ball, and tried to pretend that they were all that, so I left and went exploring with friends. A bunch of us went grass diving (running around in the field, then dropping down into the grass so no one could see us.) and we went to pet the horse they had. Then there was the concert, and the talent show, and the big bonfire. Lots of fun.

Then, the next day we went to Canada,(my first time) and we went to Harrison Hot springs. We sang and played on the lake's beach, then had free time to walk to the hot spring, or swim, or do whatever.

Then the looooong 4 hour bus ride back. bleagh.. not fun.

 No change in the weight, and maybe a couple pounds over...But I'm promising to eat extremely well this week to offset this weekend. Going to the horses today, and volleyball is tomorrow. Maybe I'll go for a walk tonight with my dad. He wanted to on Friday, but I had stuff to do.

oh gloriousness!!! :D:D It's 70 degrees outside right now!

*dies happily*

And i'm sunburnt from walking in the sun for 10 min...

BUT I got jessie supremely clean, and shiny, gave a tour of the barn to a volunteer, and didn't freak out when Bucko went after Jessie, and she sprinted into the pasture. It is a good day. :D

Breakfast: bowl of cereal
Snack: 100 cal yogurt
Lunch: Steak Burrito- 370 cal

Xorie I'm so glad you had fun! It sounds great, how very cool that you guys were able to go on the trip, I hope you'll be able to next year as well. Well as far as being bad, we've all done it, and like you said, you're going to push ahead and eat better from today on, and you will, so it's ok :) Being around lots of people like that is definitely a difficult time to remain strong, I imagine there weren't many available alternatives either.

The weather sounds beautiful, the horses sound beautiful, I'm happy it's nice there! Have a good night!

Isn't the weather these days wonderful?

I've been meaning to stop by and check out your diary. Seems like most people I've been checking up on today are over halfway to their goals. Congratulations! I'm jealous.

I've never been horseback riding. I can't say it's ever been on my want list, but it certainly sounds interesting. You sound like you had a great time.

Ok, had a bowl of cereal for breakfast,
Then chicken yakisoba for lunch, and the other half for dinner. it was good. :D

off to volleyball in half an hour, so there go more calories! :D

Mm what is Chicken Yakisoba Xorie? I hope you have fun at volleyball...you know I tried out for volleyball in high school but I didn't make the team! haha! I couldn't serve the ball, I couldn't "bump" the ball the correct way (I don't know the term for it) My arms and wrists hurt too much! It was kinda funny actually, I was really terrible. Everyone would sort of grunt if I was their practice partner for tryouts. Volleyball is tough! I think anyone that can play the game and enjoy getting beat up all the time is amazing! I was a tennis & swim team girl.

Hope you burned lots of calories and had a good night!

Ok, so i've gained again. So, I'm going to go back to writing down EVERYthing that I eat during the day, and totaling up the calories. Last time I did that, I got to 187, so, hopefully this time I'll drop even more!

Breakfast: 1.5 bowls of cereal (too much, I know)
Lunch: 3/4 bagel w/ cream cheese
Snack: yogurt
Dinner: burger & fries
Snack: 1 piece of turkey rolled in 1 piece of cheese

So, yeah, back to counting calories for me! Fun fun... BUT it works, so yeah for me.

Lukewarm, Yakisoba is a asian dish that I usually see at Terriyaki places. It's basically meat, vegietables, and chinese noodles all thrown together with a yummy cooking oil/sauce.

You know I despise the fact that I have to count calories, I really don't enjoy spending all the time I do on recording what I eat. However, like you, I've discovered that it's a great way to make sure I don't overeat. Or rather, to help ensure that I don't. It's not fun but it's going to be worth it.

Breakfast: bowl of fruity pebbles w/ skim milk: 350 cals
Lunch: Turkey sandwich: 450 cals
Dinner: bowl of fuity pebbles w/ skim milk: 360 cals

Total for day: 1160

haha We're both eating turkey sandwiches and cereal as our main meals...with all your volleyball and such, 1160 seems a tiny bit low maybe? Well I hope you're having a good night Xorie!

I got in a quater of an apple, and a peanut butter bar, so that puts it at about 1400 cals, so much better. :D

And yes, we're all nuts for eating cereal at dinner time, but hey, it tastes good, and if you're in the mood for cereal, eat cereal! :D

argh...

1 bowl of fruity pebbles again today. I poured another one, but my dad came up behind me, and said. "you don't knew that, and you know it." Man, it's been a bad morning, and I pretty much made a mess as I pushed the bowl away and said "I know that I know I don't need it!" I'm so frustrated because the scale said 193 this morning....That's 4 lbs more than what I was last week. FOUR POUNDS....

sorry...I'm just slightly frustrated. It's been a long week, I'm tired, sore, and my sister was little miss goody-two-shoes all day yesterday, and it looks like it's going to carry on into today....*takes a deep breath*

ok, I can handle this.

Lunch: PB&J : 320 cal

Dinner:turkey & cheese quesadilla: 500 cal

Total: 1200 cal

I'm leaving to go to the horses in a few minutes, so, I'll be burning bunch o' calories while I'm there. And it will be my goal not to eat once I get back, or when I go to the movie. I really do want to get on top of this whole weightloss hitting the wall thing. I really really really really want to move my ticker down lower than 189. sheesh. the shifting between 192.4 and 189 is killing me. I want to see it shifting between 185 and 189 thank you very much.

And next week i'm going to be making it my goal to go to the Y at least 2 times. I haven't gone in about 3 weeks, and I need to start again. Again, with the whole losing the motivation thing.
