Reaching For the Dreams....

patience grasshopper patience.

youve done so well -and you look fantastic... the number on the scale is just that - a number... focus more on the good health you're giving yourself and lobbing the volleyball over the net :)

Thanks mal. I needed that. :) *hugs* Anyway, I'm back down to 192. Thank goodness, and I can blame the bloat on TOM. Oh woe are we who have to deal with it, and woe are the others who have to deal with us! :D

Heading off to play with the horses, then to be a coach for my lil' bro's volleyball team. (I think they're afraid of me, cause i make them run) :D

we won our first match!!!! It was a great game for them. We won the first match, then lost the second, and then won the third, 16-14! I'm so proud of them! :D

Monday weigh in. 192. good good. Hoping to see a drop next week!

Went to the horses today, cleaned stalls, raked isles, raked hay, walked horses, groomed horses and...

I was asked by the founder to be part of the board. I was shocked to say the least. She said that I was a hard working, quick learner, eager to please, but not so that I could be pushed around, and articulate. It was nice hearing those good things from her. She's one of the most amazing people I've ever had the fortune to meet. So I agreed, and I'm going to attend the next board meeting. :) I'm excited, plus, this will look great on any resume that I post! :D

Either going to the horses, or going to the Y tomorrow. I don't know which one yet. :D Horses will probably win, because I have to go to voice lessons on Wednesday anyway, so that I couldn't go then. :D:D:D! I'm having WAAAY too much fun now, and, Sara, who works at the Barn said

"You are not fat Jacqui, you just have a big butt! And I would kill for you're curves!" :D:D!!! I was soooooo happy, and got this warm glowing feeling inside of me! :D

Well, I saw 191, before it jumped back to 192. I'm getting so close!!! I can taste the 180's now! :D

I'm having a good day, it was 69 degrees yesterday, and the sun was shining, and my car's getting fixed, my room's clean, homework's done, and I'm about to be tortured by my vocal coach! It's a great day! :D

Hope everyone reading this is doing well!

190!!!!!! Ahhh!!!

But I won't change my ticker till monday. Just in case.

but it put me in the best mood today. It's amazing! :D

Thanks Mal, you too. :D Played with the horses yesterday and got bit for the first time! :D But it wasn't a hard bite, so I'm good.

Going to the gym today, and there's a vb practice, so my exercise is good for today! :D

well, didn't get to the gym, but I went to 2 different vb practices.

breakfast was a bowl of fruit
lunch was a pb&j sandwich with small bowl of cheddar tomatoe soup,
dinner is a pb&j sandwich. (it's lent, and I can't have meat on Fridays)

Hope to see the change of weight stick on monday! :D

Well I get to move my ticker! the loss stuck!

I'm officially at 191 today! yes! Go me! :D

Played with the horses yesterday, going to again today. Breakfast was a turkey sandwich and an apple. (I wasn't in the mood for cereal)

hm...what else... I don't really know. It's first period at school, and we're not doing anything so i'm wasting time on the computers. It's fun. :D

now i'm going to go change my ticker.:D

way to go for that ticker move :) awesome girlie :)

school starts early for you guys... :( have a good day..

Yeah, regular school starts at 7:30. But I'm in a zero period for Jazz Choir, so I get here everyday at 6:20. *yawn* But not for the next three days. It's WASL testing, so I don't have to be at school until 10:30. :)

Well hello my beloved forum daughter :) ooooooo sleep in days !! Gotta love that ;)

Nice to see your numbers are going down :) Don't make me come in here screaming and shouting about that !!

Carry on missy - I'm proud of ya like any forum father would be :)

Okay, haven't been here in a little while. I'm still at 191, and am hoping to be lower than that on Monday! *crosses fingers*

I've been a little bad this week, but managed to pull myself back on track. And, I got myself back on track within 4 days, rather than 4 weeks, like the last time. Well, i'm off to find out what happend to my ticker, and to make a new one! :D

Hey Xorie:

I just read through your whole diary tonight, from start to finish
and it was very inspiring and honest. I could really relate to the part where you were gone for a while and gained a bunch of weight, as I did that too and just recently got back on track and dropped the weight I had gained and then some (woo hoo!)

I think that writing calories down really does help. In the beginning, I didn't like counting calories because it's kind of annoying to have to read labels and measure out food

I think

damn it

nobody else has to do this shit, why should I?

But then, I realized, a lot of other people DO have to do that, and also, if you do count calories, you know exactly what is going on, you don't have to guess. The laws of thermodynamics do not ever falter, at least in this known universe, so if you know you are creating a deficit every day, no matter how small, you know for sure you are losing weight.

I really like math and trust me, I have gone crazy studying for hours how metabolism works and what exactly a calorie is and how to increase BMR and on and on, I am a big bio and math nerd, so tracking calories is now actually like a fun game for me.

Girl, you have lost an ASSLOAD of weight, and that is very admirable. And the fact that you can run so far and so fast, that is amazing. I don't think I can even make it down a city block.

As for your pictures, you can definitely see a big difference, in the "before" pictures, your body is much more vaguely shaped, and all the baggy clothes make it look even more nebulous, but in the later pictures, you can see some nice, womanly curves, which is definitely more cute than fat rolls.

I wish you the best of luck, and I know that you can reach your goal. The people on here are very nice and helpful, and many times when I have wanted to raid the fridge, I have come here instead to be inspired by other people. Going from 225 to 191 is absolutely amazing; that's 15% of your body weight!

You WILL be a hot and spicy volleyball chick, and one day in the not too distant future, you will look at all your skinny team-mates and you will be one of them.

Thanks protectiva! :D

Anywho, I was a little bad last night, it was my sister's closing night for her show, so we all went to Denny's afterward. I had a Philly Melt, and 2 mozzerella sticks. I came home and saw I had gained like, 5 lbs from last Monday, and scared myself silly... but then I realized that I had had 4 glasses of water too! lol. This morning was better. Only a 3lbs difference, so I'm not too worried.

My goal this week is to make it to the gym every day of the school week. So that's 5 times this week. I'm going to make it a goal to run at least a mile, but probably more like two.
