Raw food diary

well done!!. It is great that you have made a decision to start taking care of yourself, and its wonderful that your already starting to feel fantastic. It has been my experience that for a diet to be successfull in the long term, it can be hugely beneficial, to tackle the internal beliefs and programing back of it all. you may find taking a look at http://weight-loss.fitness.com helps you, like it has helped me. All the best to you, keep up the good work.

I like your approach. My basic approach/thinking is the same, although Im implementing it differently (couldnt live on raw food only). It apparently takes a month to ingrain new habits. Good luck!

Very motivating! I'm quite curious about the effect of green veggies on skin elasticity, since loose skin after weight loss is also a major concern of mine.

I will be more interested after a longer period of time. I've read a few too many things about the Raw Food diet to believe in it being a long term and healthy diet BUT that is just my opinion and I wish you well.

As far as leafy greens, yes. They contain Vitamins A and C which does help the skin repair itself. However, those same vitamins are gotten from other foods. As long as you eat a balanced and healthy diet (containing items like leafy greens) then you are getting all the ones you need. The stronger factor will be losing weight slowly. Age has a factor as your skin loses elasticity.

I enjoyed reading your posts.
It seems that You made a new decision. You woke up one day and came to some realisations that caused you to change your mind...
...and then you set some new goals and took the practical steps of changing what you were eating...in your case that means (as I understand it) eating live (unprocessed), water rich food.
It would appear that you are getting benefits well beyond weight loss.
It's amazing how it all starts with banishing the old thoughts and creating a new thought.
I wish you every success. I will be following your progress to see how well this continues to work for you.
Congratulations on your success to date.

Best wishes.

:O You're a morning person! I hate you already. Joking. :D You've done well! And you seem so hype!

Hey Mike,

I'm going to sign on to follow your diary too, I like your style! Totally agree with you on the up and at 'em philosophy, I hate wasting the morning, I like being up early before everyone else and get at a good breakfast, work and checking up on the day's news. Toss into that now getting a good half hour on the treadmill then out the door.

I feel way more productive this way. That said, a good night's sleep is important for health too. I always try and get at least 7 hours sleep whenever possible, usually not much more.

Keep up the good work!

You are certainly enthusiastic. Now if we could just bottle that.....
Imagine what could happen if we all got enthusiastic about creating our own life.
