Ramblings of a skinny wannabe

This is my motivation to stay on track as it were. After having 2 kids in quick succession, my waistline suffered a fair bit! So I decided to join the gym and fat fighters in my bid to get fit and lose weight. I started my journey weighing 12st 3.5lb (171.5lb) :piggy: So far its going well and I have lost 23.5lb since 17th March and touch wood I am STILL losing! :hurray: I am 5ft 2.5" and I would like to get down to 8st 7lb (119lb). I follow the plan and I get weighed weekly on tuesdays.

Starting Measurements
Chest - 37"
Waist - 33"
Hips - 41"
Upper Arms - 13"
Thighs - 24"
Calves - 16"

Measurements as of 28/07/2009
Chest - 34" -4"
Waist - 28" -5"
Hips - 38.5" -2.5"
Upper Arms - 12" -1"
Thighs - 20.5" -3.5"
Calves - 14.5" -1.5"
17.5 inches gone! :party:

I don't have any before pics to hand right now but I will do soon but I do have July's!

Having a really good week! I'm really hoping for a good weight loss this week, have been down the gym every day this week, I must be mad! But I feel really good for it! Had sneaky peak on scales 10st 6lb (146lb) :p and I don't get weighed "officially" until tuesday! So I have real hope of achieving my mini goal of 2 stone (28lb) weight loss sooner rather than later! :)
 
wow! nice work!!!! its so great to hear stories like yours. Its very motivational when i feel like giving up...and im only 3 days in :willy_nilly:
