Someone at work bought Krispy Kreme doughnuts into work so that's just screwed my nutrition for the afternoon. I'm scoffing Tuna right now but I know it's just landing in a bed of custard filling in my stomach.

Why is it that Krispy Cremes are so much nicer than all other doughnuts? I absolutely hate doughnuts usually but I love KK's. I'd think they'd made a pact with the Devil if it wasn't for the fact I'd seen their financial reports :)
 
I'm having a tough day so far, it feels like all my motivation has gone. I really don't feel like forcing down my next meal or heading off to the gym after that. I'm fed up with the gym and I'm tired

Could this be a sign of over training? Maybe I'm just being lazy, or perhaps I'm not getting enough sleep. It could also be because it's a week until pay day and the bank account is low. Whatever it is I'm feeling pretty apathetic about everything

What I really need right now is to watch a Rocky training sequence but I'm at work and don't have headphones so chances of that are low :)

Can anyone think of anything to make me angry? Aggression usually helps me

I'm trying to get myself worked up by visualising people talking about 'bulking up' by doing bicep curls and sipping their caffeine free skinny mocha latte's

Oh yeah, and the current Hollywood trend for skinny ('toned') leading men

Agghh, come to think of it 'Bradd Pitt in Fight Club abs' piss me off too. Why do people want that look?!?! Chuck Rocky Balboa in the ring with Mr 'Bradd Pitt' abs and see who the tough guy really is

Well, if you dont train, you will be worse than Brad Pitt: you will be your own version of the Michelin Man. You couldnt kick a rock to the fricken curb (not mention having no balls to begin with) and your brain would have withered so much and had far too many brain farts to allow you to go into the Psych ward for treatment..........WAKE THE HELL UP!

On the more serious side (NOT TO SAY I WASNT FRICKEN SERIOUS, my dearest friend...LOL): How long have you been training continuously? Sometimes just taking a break for a few days extra, and eating right, can revamp your mind and body or a week after several months of training is not a bad idea. Sometimes the ENTIRE central nervious system needs a break.

You just may be suprised.

This may give what is lacking a chance to get caught up.

Look at the FACTS of your training (rest v training, and diet), is there anything in there that sticks out? Have you had this feeling before? If so when? Try to learn if the body is lying or telling the truth and adjoin your brain to it.

Sometimes during the course of our training and dieting, we stop even if our goals are defined and ask: "What is all this for?" "Is it worth it?"......the answers to these questions can steer the ship.............

From the looks of your body, with that classic V shape, I'd bet you look great in a tight shirt (and, no, I'm not gay and I'm not coming on to you...)Put on a really tight shirt and go to a mall or, even better, a bar, er, pub for your UKers.

Watch the women check you out out of the corner of their eye.

I was down a few weeks ago, went out with the wife to a bar and felt great afterwards.

I get down too. I think all humans do. The secret is to get back up. You may have hit a lifting slump, but don't worry about that. Just tell yourself you're trying to maintain your existing body.

And, why not take up a sport like cycling or rugby to add some variety?
