Raina's Back!

I have heard the same about Cabo. I love Cancun, and I went to Ixtapa once. I loved Ixtapa! it was humid, but the water was warmer than the pools, and everyone was SO hospitable.

Thanks Mal for the encouragement. I was worried about the greesy food, but maybe it won't be that big of a problem.

And... Saint... i'm going to check out that site. Thanks for passing it along!!!

I'M BACK! From Mexico. It was sooo much fun, and mostly... relaxing. It was hot, sunny, and the people there were soooo hospitable. They loved my baby boy. The food was great the water was warm, the pools were perfect. I came back to rain, cold and a crazy holiday to get ready for. But... without seasons, I wouldn't appreciate the sunshine and warmth. right?

I'm excited for Christmas, and mostly excited to get back on the bandwagon after. I've been bummed about gaining a few pounds, but I'm here, so that tells you I'm ready to take it serious again.

My favorite part of Mexico (Cabo BTW) was a ride on ATV's along the pacific coast, with no one in site for as far as you can see. And the waves crashing right along side. We rode as fast as we could, stood up, and... actually I felt like a kid, but isn't what makes it's sooo fun? Everyone should go! Let's plan a trip? :D Anyone with me?

Glad you had fun in Mexico! I'm freezing my tushy off here! Well, ok, so it's not cold compared to the vast majority of the country, but it's cold for us!

I don't know if anybody has made the suggestion, but SparkPeople is great for tracking calories and exercise. They'll even tell you (based on weight and such) how many calories your 20 minutes on the bike burned! I love it.

And I'm also a huge photobug! Working on becoming professional. Saving up some money to buy a bigger, more professional camera, so that when I do my first wedding in August, I'll be prepared! I've got $300 saved so far, with another $200 each pay day, plus any money I make from pictures, until I get enough for the camera I want. I'm seriously thinking about adding a dollar to the fund for every pound I loose, too. Ought to add up quickly that way.

Anyway, enough about me in your thread. LOL. Love your name, btw!

Thanks Dawn for the SparkPeople website. I'm going to check them out. I have decided that I just need to get through Christmas and then I'm back. I hate feeling like a failure, and I know with all of the parties, family, etc... i'm just better off not counting calories until Tuesday.
I guess the good thing is, I'm running around soo much trying to get everything done, that I feel like I'm constantly excercising.
