After i get the knee thing sorted out...then I have to get some therapy for my shins...hell, by then I may need some therapy for my head too!

Maybe I can ask Rachie to put in some extra runs for me and I can live through her!
 
Thanks 12pack. You might want to wait for your knee to heal before you run anywhere.... except to the store for the Kilkenny that is ;)
 
oops, I was a bit slow there :) Yep, so how many miles do you want to run a week 12pack? How many do I need to add on? :D
 
Hmmm....I dunno...maybe an extra 1/2 mile per run for now should do it...and I'll get a keg at home, so you can have all the Kilkenny you want when you drop by ;)

An extra half mile per run? hmmm, well, that's probably going to do some good for my training I'll try it for you :D
 
Good gym workout but easier than yesterday :) Jogged for 1 mile then ran at 8 and a 1/2 minute mile for half a mile (you can have that half mile 12pack) and then I jogged for another 5 minutes or so. Then weights for 15-20 mins and elliptical trainer for 20 minutes.

I was at work really late last night :( so all I had for dinner was a kashi bar I had at work and then some crackers and a couple of smoked oysters - mmm, oily but yummy :) Today I am going to try and eat lots of veggies, I feel a bit deprived from them - good that I miss them I suppose! :D
 
Breakfast/morning snack: nutrigrain
Lunch: salad w/ chicken breast and low-fat honey dijon dressing
Afternoon: colleague's birthday so a small piece of coconut cake :eek:
Dinner: Baked chicken breast, baked potatoes, peas

edit: am thinking more about the calorie deficit. 1371 seems like an awful lot considering I need 1000 a day to lose 2lbs a week and I have been losing about 0.5lbs a week...
 
Photocrazed, you are so sweet :) It's taken me some time to get here! I have to admit that I started off just changing exercise over a year and lost slowly but surely. But now eating well (which I know from your diary you do) is making a big difference to how I feel even if the weight is being a bit stubborn. I hope your weight starts to show a difference this week. I know that it has to soon because you are really working so hard! Gym this morning: Elliptical trainer 30 minutes, treadmill one 9 minute mile.

Breakfast and morning snacks: banana, nutrigrain, coffee
 
BLEHHHH I have a big presentation this afternoon and I feel sick. I just have to remember that in a couple of hours it'll be over and I won't have to do one for a while. I just make myself sick from worry though. I didn't eat my banana and all I ate for lunch was a couple of slices of chicken that were leftover from yesterday's lunch. Gross.
 
This is probably a false-low because I ate practically nothing for lunch (not purposely - just nerves get me like that) but I did eat a big bowl of pasta for dinner... but... anyway.... scales said 134.5lbs this morning! I am going to the gym this morning so will keep working hard and be sure to get my full whack of 1500 calories today - but I have hit the gym for the last 5 days in a row so maybe it's beginning to have an effect? Should be a light day today - only about 30 minutes. We'll see what the scales says over the weekend and the next few days :D

wow your differences are really big like mine :) im never too trusting of fitday anymore though because even though theres usually at least a thousand calories different for me everyday i am only losing about a pound a week still?
have you found this too?
keep it up and you will be losing loads in no time :D
