Hello.

I am a major yo yo dieter. i have tried EVERYTHING! Slimming world, Weight Watchers, low calorie, high protein, slimming pills, everything! and what i normally do is do it for a week, only lose 1-2lbs and feel like its not worth it and go back to normal eating.

I love take aways, normally have them 2-3 times a week. other then that, its not how much i eat- cause i dont really eat that much. its what i eat. for some reason i love high cal stuff such as cheese on EVERYTHING! chips, pasta, bread...just lots of stuff that doesnt look a lot on the plate but are full of calories.

I am a 19 year old woman, living quite far from my family with my boyfriend in a little flat. when i lived at home i was very healthy, would eat loads of fruit and loved it! now money is an issue i stock up on 9p noodles from asda cause they are cheap and healthy food is generally more expensive.

right.. the numbers. i am the heaviest i have ever been and hate it. am about a size 18. 5'11 (tall gal i know!!) and weigh 15 stone 2lbs (212 lbs) i am quite broad, so carry the weight well.

to be honest, i have never done the forum thing before. read them a lot, but never written on them myself. i am doing this cause i want a record for myself on how i am doing. also if i can help other people in the same situation that would be great. also in a weird way i think if other people know what i weigh and are tracking my loss i cant cheat or stop, cause i will be letting people down!

i am a bridesmaid at my sisters wedding on the 9th May. the first one of us girls (have 2 sisters) to tie the knot. gonna know EVERYONE at this wedding and there will be loads of photos. this is my motivation. i want to be about 12 stone (168lbs) for the wedding. and my long term target is to be 11.5. (161lbs)

when i am 12 stone i am going to get my belly button pierced. i've always wanted it done but think its pointless unless you can show it off on a nice flat tummy!!

For the last week i have been on the cabbage soup diet, my first weigh in i was 15 stone 11lbs, so lost 9lbs in a week. its pretty extreme though, has been really hard! 1 more week of cabbage soup and then i am going on 800 calories a day for the remaining time.

i know this might seem extreme, but if i go on a diet where i have a lot of choice and can eat yummy things i know i will cheat. i need a strict plan where i know exactly what i can eat.

need to lose about 3lbs a week to get to my target for May.

I am very serious about this now and will see it through.

gonna do this diary weekly letting you all know how much i have lost and how the week has gone. as i said this diary is for my records mainly and i get lots of support from my lovely boyfriend, but any supportive comment would be very welcome! im really open with my weight and lifestyle now too so any curious questions dont hesitate!!

I'm new to the forum too.

I am also a yo-yo dieter, but I recently had a baby, so now I'm at a higher weight than ever before and really want it gone already.

I once did the cabbage soup diet for a week and dropped a dress size. I was impressed with the results, but I felt like crap doing it and soon gained it back. What is your long term plan, diet wise? Currently I am counting cals - sticking with 1200-1800 a day and getting as much exercise as is possible with a small baby to look after. I have been doing well since 1st jan and can already see results.
