quick size gains??

not that this is a bad thing, but is it normal? i have been working out for 3 weeks now, and already in my arms and my chest i am noticing a significant bulk in size. im not taking any kind of supplement, im just working out for about an hour 3 times a week. has anybody else experinced this, and does it hopefully continue? or is it something that happens until my muscles get used to the lifting?

hi tygerfan24

I joined the gym about 4 months ago and got a trainer to give me a routine that incorporated weight lifting and cardio workouts for a 5 day week. Making sure that I went at least 3-4 days a week, after the first month I had actually started to see muscles in my arms and chest  ... then another month later I started seeing muscles in my arms and chest I didn't even knew existed

I am 4 months into my training now and it only gets better :D

Mind you I am overweight so for someone like me it will take longer to get those muscles we have always wanted ;) and at the same time more loss of body fat = better definition!

But with everything there will be a point where you and I will reach a Plateau and will find it more difficult to get size gain.

hope this helps

cheers,
ofir

It is amazing that when you exercise you get muscles... only if we could get this information to the rest of the planet.

Keep it up, you will see progress, and then you will start to focus on problem areas, beat them up, and the cycle will continue until you look like Brad Pitt or me ...

You will see the biggest change during the first three months of working out, after that, you gotta have the will to continue, as you have to work harder to see the same results.

Excactly. After this time is when your diet/training usually needs to be re-assed and made changes to if necessary.
