quick ABS question

alright right now i am doing 3x25 regular crunches w/ a 25 lb weight held up in front of me, and 3x25 of russian twist with a 25 lb weight in front of me...for the twists I dont think it matters, but for the regular crunches, would it be better if I did a 10 lb weight kinda behind my head, or the 25 lb weight held up in front of me? I also do like a set of 20 leg lifts afterwards...thanks for any help

i dunno i did like 15 reps with the weight the first set but it was too easy, so i just went up to 25 reps and its hard but i can do it for 3 sets

so you think maybe like 15 reps, just do it with the 10 lb weight behind my head...it seemed harder...but for the twists maybe i should just up the weight to like 45 lbs??

russian twist, no offence, but i doubt you can do them with correct form with 45lbs. how do you hold the weight? straight out infront of you, over you're chest, thats about where it should be held. also, in the beginning, be careful with it, its a hard exersice, do it slowly at first and make sure you DONT twist you're lower back. its lumbar (lower back) stability and thorotical (upper back) rotation.

alright thanks...yea i was holding the 25 lb weight like a 8 inches off my stomach area...gotta change that i guess lol

thats a good video of it, look at how he holds the med ball, thats where you wanna hold the weight.
This is decline though, on a decline bench, it might not be how you do them, but its the same idea. Personally my fav is the decline one.
