Questions on Weight Loss Plan

Hi, Im recently starting a Weightloss/General fitness plan to try to lose some weight and get in shape. Since Im new to all this, I just wanted to post it here and get some feedback.

Im 5'11 and 220lbs, and I work as a Software Engineer, so I spend 8 hours a day sitting in a chair, minus the occasional walk to a meeting.

For my Diet, Ive cutout sweets, soda, froze foods, fast food, etc.. all the stuff thats typically "Bad" for you. For Breakfeast I generally have some Eggs/Bacon/OJ, Lunch I have a Ham&turkey Sandwhich, around 5 I have a Small Snack (Usually a Meal Replacement or Protein Bar) and for Dinner Ill ahve a Salad and and come Chicken/Fish and a glass of Skim Milk. I will also have an additional Protein Shake following working out. This works out to a Ration of about 30% Carbs, 50% Protein, and 20% Fat. Im also taking one day off a week to "Cheat" my diet, while at the same time being mindful of what im eating as to not go too overboard. Im constantly drinking water throughout the day as well.

For excercise I am Biking 4-6 Days per week. Right now im soing about 8 Miles at a time, Averaging about 8mph. I plan to add an Additional Workout to my Biking 3x a Week, but I am not sure what type of work out I need to add. Should I add a full body workout, or just an upper body workout, since the Biking will work my leg muscles?

What do you guys think? Any suggestions?

biking is a good exercise but you need some variety in your cardio,a full body workout, try jogging or if you go to the gym cross trainer is a good option, some weight training would be great too.As for your diet, try to replace the cheating day with the cheating meal(one meal at a week)for the first month where you might lose the most weight if you stick to your plan.I would replace bacon with low fat cottage cheese for breakfast, otherwise it looks like a good plan, good luck.

Take out the bacon and add more veggies. Try to fit in a little snack at Brunch (apple or orange) and another snack after that tiny dinner. Cut back the calories but eat more frequently via small portions and adding more veggie.

I would recommend adding a full body workout into your routine, it's good you've been cycling especially because you are working an office job 8 hours a day.
