Question about walking as exercise at my weight.

I weigh around 320 and obviously i need to exercise and eat better, so i added more fruits and veggies to my diet and basicly cut out fried food. And im starting to exercise my question is if i walked for between 15-30mins a day at a steady pace with my dog how much weight could i potentaly lose since i do really no exercise (started walking this week). my goal is to get back down into the 200s.

Successfully losing weight is a life style change that incorporates a lot more than eating fruit and walking 30 minutes. Walking 30 minutes a day will burn about 200 calories so if your calorie intake did not change then you would have to walk 30 minutes every day for 17.5 days to lose 1 lb. I'm not trying to discourage you but motivate you to make additional changes in your life style. Healthy and balanced eating with an appropriate calorie reduction combined with exercise (walking is a great start) will give you results. Honestly, this forum can give you some guidance and support but to lose 120 lbs will require some professional help, your doctor, a nutritionist, personal trainer...whatever works for you.

I have to agree with trek. However you can progress the pace you walk at. And maybe eventually jog the dog. :) Also look into some exercises you might want to do just for fun. When you enjoy the exercise, you get results without even thinking about it.
Keep up the diet though.
