When doing hindu squats, do you want to do them as you would do a regalur squat (ex: thighs parallel with the floor and your knees do not go over tips of your toes)?

I can't figure out how to do them without my knees going over the tips of my toes and have my butt rest on the back of my calves.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
