Yeah, I have been having a few good days, it's a nice feeling, but today is a big deadline and here I am posting on the WLF instead of taking quizzes and finishing papers, lol.
Kelly, It depends on which calorie amounts you mean. At the salad bar, I ate a lot of food, but overall, it wasn't much for the day. I had a problem with my medication which screwed up my sense of hunger, so I didn't bother to worry about food for most of the day, I just paid attention to how I felt (dizzy/tired/sick/whatever) and decided that if I felt my blood sugar crash, I'd eat something. It never happened, so I didn't worry about it.
The medication error was a bad thing, but it did feel nice to be able to go around and do my day normally, without having to pay attention to my hunger pangs. If it wouldn't cause me some serious problems and if it didn't have ugly side effects, I'd really consider it as a way to live my day-to-day life.
It was really nice to be able to go do things without "having to eat" or "trying not to make a pig of myself"; but that just is not an option. You just don't mess around with your diabetes medicine levels, not without a doctor testing you regularly, and I don't have insurance.
Wishes, thanks for the props!

I just hope that the accomplishments mean more to an employer than my looks do. Being overweight means "He looks lazy", no matter what my qualifications might be. I'm making things better as I go along, at least I hope I am. Sooner or later, it'll be some other schmuck who is "the fat guy".
Well, if the world was fair, it'd be a boring place, right?
Okay, today so far:
Sandwich (400)
"Instant" Bean Threads Vindaloo (500 ish)
"Instant" Bean Threads w/ Curry (500 ish)
The "instant" consist of Bean threads (250 cal), butter or oil (200 cal), and Peas (50 cal) with some curry powder or vindaloo paste and other seasonings. (Thanks, Kelly!)
