Well hello, never had a diary but thought id write one if anyone cared to read. I am 17 and am in grade 12. Current weight 215, highest weight 220. lowest when trying to lose 189.5. I let myself stop at 189 and landed up where i am now. I plan on posting pictures of me without a shirt and such so i can hear what others have to say about my current body so i can use it as motivation to make a better me. a main reason i am trying to lose weight is for graduation. in order for me to be able to do something like this i need to set goals and give myself a gift for when i achieve them. I am a video gamer and this method just seems like it is going to work. I tried the no video games till goal weight but that nearly made me wanna go insane. i would love to find someone who would enjoy sharing their story and talking to each other in a very close buddy system.

Its time for me to try and set up a goal list so here it goes:
215: Start weight loss
210: ???
205: Allowing one Soda a week (something little)
200: ???
195: ???
190: ???
185: A massage (treating myself with this would be awesome)
180: Ask a girl to graduation (new confidence and time to get a grad date)
Get a Gym membership (i wont feel so weird being in one and by now ill know it wont be a waste of money)
175: Shopping for some new cloths (ill be swimming in my current ones)
GOAL 170: A Tattoo (will post what i want when i think of idea)

any help with what i could fill in the ???'s with would help, ill try to fill em as i think of them too. i need good stuff for good motivation.

It is great that you have started a diary :coolgleamA: but for others here to be able to help more effectively what is your current diet like? what sort of exercise do you do and what exercise equipment do you have access to ? (Gym, Exercise DVDs, Wii, Home gym, Weights etc.)

Well what i have at my disposal... when my sister moved out i quickly persuaded my dad into converting her room into a workout room so she couldnt come back. sly i know :sifone: its got the rubber floors and mirror walls in it so its pretty good lacks free weights which i would prefer. its does contain however a treadmill, elliptical, mounted tv, stereo system, step up pad (or w.e. they are called) and one of those all in one kinda things. we use to have a personal trainer which is how i built up a lot of muscle, but i forget everything he taught me. i would get a gym membership once i know i am committed to this kind of thing, just thought about it and im going to make it one of my goals now. and for activity video games i got wii fit, wii sports, ddr and i dont really know what else gets me moving when i play.

as for my current eating habits and such all i can say is they are bad. realllllyyy bad. getting progressively worse, im going to start drinking my gallon of water again and choppin the really bad meals. like i said i want to be a cook but i hate cooking at home but i think i might start if i get motivated enough.

a major thing i suck at however is planning meals. i dont like it. i just wish there was like a month of planned daily food and it told me to make it and eat it so i didnt have to think about it and just repeat every month. that makes it easier for me. but i can never find something like that.

Hey, glad to see another Canadian on here! I like your goals, it's important to have non-food oriented goals. The massage sounds awesome!

Hey,
you are so lucky to have a whole gym at home! But I guess it has the dangers that as you don't have to go out to go to the gym you probably think, you can do it later and later and then maybe not do anything at all!
I would love to work out to my own music in full blast! But since I mainly swim no music!

Maybe if you start cooking and experimenting with food you will discover that you actually really like it, so maybe you can try? I never knew how much I enjoyed cooking until I did it ;).
Have a great week, Camy
