Put that down, fatty!

Thanks guys--was really sad. People have said "it's just a rat" but I guess you don't understand until you've kept them as pets. Such friendly, intelligent creatures. Mine used to roll onto their backs to have their tummies tickled like a dog & would play fetch with balls of paper and ping pong balls.

Last night I wanted wine but had a few gin and tonics as well as they are much lower in syns. Today I've gone to a meeting and I'm working a shift later this afternoon. tempted to sleep over as I'm working until 10:30pm and then have to be back in at 7:30am. I'll probably get more sleep if I stay over at work. So packing my bag in case :)

Anyway, home-made pasta sauce with low-fat smoked sausage in the oven for lunch & to take to work for dinner. I know the cook is making cheese and leek pastries for dinner so must avoid them & eat my healthy meal!

xo

Thanks lovely. Food has been very good the last few days.

Not much else to report--have been working a lot. About to watch American Hustle ^_^

Lunch: rice, quorn chicken, veg
Dinner: rice, quorn chicken, veg
Snacks: celery sticks w/ low fat cream cheese. Quavers.

Ended yesterday really well--Really wanted toast and peanut butter but had a satsuma instead :piggy:

Scales are being a bit nicer to me this morning. Hopefully if I'm good as gold until Wednesday it'll work out okay for me! I hate weighing in the evening though..Makes me think that I can't eat/drink all day :(

Working a late today but have a lovely big food shop coming this morning with fruit, fresh veg, veggie meals, etc. Will have a jacket potato and salad @ work as I'm working with the skinny minnies so will be shamed into eating normal portions.

Oops, forgot to post. And by forgot I mean I went to post a few times but realised I'd eaten vast quantities of shit that day and then ran away in shame. THE SHAME.

I've been a very high, greedy piggy this weekend. Take-out pizza, about 10 bags of crisps, 1 bottle of vodka, a cheese sandwich, leftover take-out pizza, angel delight, cream cheese and MOAR PIZZA. I've been very naughty.

But I also watched: Wolf on Wall Street, Wild Hogs, The Addams Family, Carrie, Insidious 2, 12 Years a Slave & The Dallas Buyers Club.

Majorly productive this weekend, as you can tell. Now I'm off for a lunch with a friend. I FAIL.

But, I have a new incentive to be less manatee-esque! Me and Yank-bonk booked a holiday! We're off to Malta in July & I'm planning on being the sexiest mother fucker Malta has ever seen. Going to get a itsy-bitsy-teeny-weeny bikini and rock my new smokin' body. I refuse to spend one more holiday cowering under circus tent dresses and trying to hide my fat, white bits on the beach. I REFUSE!
Before Malta I am going to Iceland with my male parental unit & smaller sister. It's going to be fucking epic. We are hiking up volcanos, swimming in hot springs, etc. I ALSO REFUSE TO BE FAT THEN AS WELL. So there are 73 days until my Iceland trip. The countdown begins today!

Also, I only lost 0.5lb this week in weigh in. I imagine that's what a very small dump weighs. Not impressive. MUST DO BETTER.

Day 73:
Lunch: pasta carbonara, olives, bread and balsamic vinegar. Oops.
Dinner: pasta in gravy
Snacks:
Alcohol: Bottle of wine

Weight: 15st 5lbs

Day 72:
Breakfast: 3 egg omelette
Lunch: 4 ryvitas with dairylea
Dinner: quorn chicken wraps
Snacks:
Alcohol: bottle of reduced calorie white wine.

I've been good today :piggy: Worked a ton though. Doesn't help that the cook sent me home with mac n cheese for Yank--WANT HIS NOMS.

I'm working a 30 hour shift tomorrow so am taking ryvitas for lunch, my own quorn rice for dinner and then just fucking pray to god she doesn't put the crusty bread with butter out on the table. I literally cannot resist it. It's stupidly good.

Ordered some new scales so will see the true extent of MANATEE THE REVENGE when they are delivered as feel my scales may be being kind this morning at 15st 3lbs. We'll see...

Mmm.. crusty bread with butter. I shouldn't of read that. haha!

Good luck with the new scales! I hope they are in your favor. :)

Don't feel bad about the weekend. Everyone goes off the rails sometimes.

Good luck with the new scales! I feel like I need to switch mine, but I'm afraid to. There's a 7lb difference between my scales and the ones at the doctor's office. The doctor's says I'm 7lbs heavier, which is probably right.....but I really like seeing that lower number and haven't quite worked up to changing them yet.

Yeah I'm quite nervous about the new ones arriving! Will be a bit traumatised if I'm much heavier!

Scales are saying 15st 4lbs this morning. I had a bottle of wine last night, naughty naughty. So back on nights for the rest of the week to fix that ;)

Day 71:
Lunch: ryvitas with dairlea
Dinner: quorn chicken rice leftovers
Snacks:

Weight: 15st 4lbs

I hate new scales just for that reason! Really though, the new ones could be the ones that weigh off. Also it doesn't actually physically change what you actually weigh even if it is a different number! It's just a freakin head game.

I wouldn't let a heavier number bother you. You've still accomplished the same thing, regardless of the number. :]

Agreed with all the above!

You are doing great! You could do better with food, but you are still losing so that is awesome! Sorry to hear about Edison :( I don't understand why people have rats or mice for pets, but I feel the same about snakes and spiders. To each their own, and a pet is a pet and I'm sure you loved and cared for Edison as I do my Winter (dog). Never easy losing a pet which I'm sure do not help your mood and therefore your food choices :(

71 days, wow! You can do it :D

Jeeez, was not kidding about these long ass shifts. 30 hour shift! Insane. Ate perfectly and am now weighing 15st 2lb which is 3lbs down from last week :D Off to a training day now so will post properly later!

Woooooo! Awesome loss for the week. And yes, a 30hr shift sounds insane. What do you do for that long? Do you sleep during that time? Do you just need to be available?

30 hour shifts are normally 24 hour shifts but you end up tied up in meetings for the kids. So in a 24 hour shift I usually sleep for 6 hours between midnight & 6am and then back down to wake the kids up, etc. But yeah, have to be available during the night so if they kick off then I get woken up. I found out that the young girl who assaulted me has to pay me some "victim" money though which is pretty sweet!

Am off today and my best friend is visiting me :) The one who moved away because of his mental health issues. So am super excited to drink, eat, smoke some bud and play some PS3 with my brother from another mother.

Didn't make it to weigh in this week due to WORK. But my scales are saying 15st 2lb this morning despite crap food choices yesterday so am pleased for that. If I can get under 15 stone this/next week that will be AMAZING. So that's the goal. Got some super awesome body fat expensive scales coming soon so hoping they'll say the same weight!!!

Here's a photo from date-night last night :beating:
the wine diet continues to work!

Nice, Hana. I am digging the hair color! I'm sure the date did as well! It sounds like a great day off. Hope it was fun and that you got to enjoy ALL that was planned. Would love to have a bit of brownie after reading your post. :)
