In other news, I was NAUGHTY this morning. I had a mcmuffin. BUT I DONT REGRET IT! Best 400 calories I've ever wasted on rubbish. So yummy and now my craving for it (which I've had for WEEEEEKS) has gone!

Haha! I had the same experience last week. I drove by this old mexican food place I used to get burritos from EVERYDAY before I started caring about my weight. I'd had a craving for those things for MONTHS, and last weekend I finally got two, for whatever reason. They were good, not great, but more importantly I don't think I'll crave them anymore.

Anyways, have a nice hump day!
 
Well done on going down a dress size. :) It's definitely best to have a little bit of whatever you are craving rather than deprive yourself to the point where you are desperate for it and end up eating too much.
 
Andy--Know what you mean..Althought it was AMAZING (and I mean, I could have had at least 3 more right there and then!) I'm no longer craving them which is really good :) Allll about moderation!

Hm are your English McMuffins different to our Australian ones?? A bacon and egg McMuffin here is only 297cals, and a sausage one is 330cals. Lol they used to be hangover cure to me a lifetime ago- haven't had McDonalds for years! Just thought it was interesting :D
Looks like you've been eating a lot of salt in the passed couple of days- maybe that's affecting your weigh ins? Just a thought! Maybe you're just going to have a whoosh. As long as you stick with it that's the main thing- and hey you have for this long so I'm really not too worried about you!

Its funny isn't it...how you crave somethign for ages and build it up in your mind and then when you finally get it, its not as great as you remember at all...

I think ours are worse for you than that! Although I may be wrong--Will make a note to check it out! Better to estimate too high though, I think! I think it might be the salt as well..Will be extra careful not to have too much this week and see what happens.

Well, sorry for not updating yesterday. Internet has been down (again *rolls eyes*). This flat is falling apart man! And it's so hot here right now--toooo warm for the poor wilting sunflower :( I'm too fair-skinned for this weather! :nopity:

Yesterdays calories were close to 1300.

Let's see how I go today!

Breakfast: alpen bar (70)
Lunch: ham and philli sammich (200) string cheese (67)
Dinner: bowl of rice (150) dip and breadsticks/cucumber (300)
Snacks: 1/2 bottle of wine (450)

Total:1237
Exercise: 1 hr walk

It's getting hot here as well. Thank goodness for air conditioned gyms and swimming pools or I think I would have started to go back to being a couch pototo :)
And it's so hot here right now--toooo warm for the poor wilting sunflower :( I'm too fair-skinned for this weather! :nopity:

I've been skipping the gym for ages :( My membership has run out and I can’t afford another £100 for the next 6 months...I think my Grama is getting me another 6 months for my 21st in September so until then I just have to do my DVD's and walking and such, which makes it a little harder.

Just want to see those bloody numbers go down but I *know* that I'm not trying hard enough. Shouldn’t have wine, shouldn’t have crisps or white bread but I still do it..*shrugs* I've reached one of those stages I think. Putting on that weight really discouraged me and now it's almost like..do I care? I know I want this but can I want it *that* badly if I'm not making 100% effort all the time?

Reached 12 stone 3 pounds on the scales last night but this morning I'm apparently 12 stone 5 pounds. That's what wine does to ya!

Ho hum---Guess I'll keep trying. Wearing my new outfit to a BBQ on the beach/common today so will take some photos for you guys to see :)

Breakfast: -
Lunch: ham and philli sammich (200) strawberries (20)
Dinner: ate out (around 1000 I would guess)
Snacks: 2 glasses of wine (300)

I've been drinking more often now that summer is here and it has stalled my weight loss.

I was as low as 200.6 but now am 202 for the past four days.

I can handle that. I told myself, I can eat junk or drink. I chose drinking alcohol. (Its hard getting pissed on nacho chips) lol

Make a deal with yourself Sunny...if you drink...no junk. If you want snacks..make it only healthy stuff like veggies.... And keep eating in moderation and control.

That way your gains are minimal and your still always reinforcing control with your intake.

Maybe its time to rethink and refocus? Decide what's more important and how much you still want to lose some weight or whether you are comfortable as you are right now - no mans land is no way to go!! You'll just keep eating stuff you shouldn't and then being disappointed when the weight doesn't come off. Have fun at the bBQ :D

Had work this morning which was funnn. Found out that work are planning on sending one of our big care packages (severe autism, needs almost 24 hour care) away to Chichester on holiday for a week and needs 2 care workers to go and they've offered it to me! It's £1200 for a weeks work and all the food, sleeping arrangements, activites are all paid for by social services. Thats a LOT of money. Wont get my hopes up as work have fallen through with this sort of stuff before but keep your fingers crossed for me!

So I've already planned dinner out tonight so I'm not tempted to deviate from the plan!! I've been stuck at above 12 stone for too long! Want a HUGE loss! Time to shock my body into action by cutting out the shite!

Breakfast: 2 large glasses of squash (all I had time for)
Lunch: ham and philli sammich (200) low-fat wheat crisps (129)
Dinner: new potato with garlic and herbs (150) salad (0) low-fat thin crust pizza (419)
Snacks: half a cucumber and some low fat dip (100) 5 bread sticks (100) nuts and seeds (80)

Total:1178
Exercise: will be a 1 hr walk

So that leaves me 400 left over for snacks if I want it. Think I might try and stay under 1000. My body is too used to insane amounts of crap right now. I'm going to flush myself out with insane amounts of water and avoid snacking!! xx

I see that you're a sqaush drinker. I would never be able to get nearly enough liquid in me if it wasn't for squash as I can't stand drinking plain water. I make myself up litre and a half bottles of it and take it everywhere with me. The no added sugar ones are so lo cal without having all the gas of most lo cal drinks.
I hope Chichester works out for you :) When I worked in bars here in Mallorca I often met care workers that got to bring their 'patients' out for a holiday here.

Lol, It's just a flavoured concentrate that you add to water to flavour it. The no added sugar version is very low in calories and comes in lots of flavours orange, lemon, summer fruits, blackcurrant etc. It's the only way that I can get myself to drink any quantity of water.

Had work at 6am this morning *yawn* then came home at about 10 and slept til 1! Very lovely! Now back to work til 9pm so must take some sort of snack with me. Probably some plain rice-cakes or a seed mix.

Food will be at 834 if I stick to dinner plan WITHOUT snacks. So obviously I need about another 200-300 worth of snacks. Wont be home til 9pm so will take snack to work maybe..Or grab a small something after my meeting at 4pm.


I AM BACK ON THIS!! CANT WAIIIIIT TO SEE THAT NUMBER DROP! Feeling VERY motivated again. Think it's the fresh salad and veg--Raw food really is awesome. Must pick up another of them!!
 
Alsooo, I'm going home tomorrow (eep) to have some MORE clothes brought for me. My aunt hasnt seen me since I started my diet and she's coming over from Spain (where she lives) to take me to Oxford with my mum for lunch and shops :) Have got to be on my best behavior but my mum always has a ton of salad and soups and stuff so should be fine.

So yeah, wont be back online after tonight until friday probably. Will update with snacks and such later this evening!
