Put that down, fatty!

Thanks Lisa *hugs* I hope I cheer up soon as well--It is time of the month soon so may be a part of it! Or the fact that MY JOB IS RUINING MY LIFEEEEE! *plays worlds smallest violin* Haha, i totally noticed the "arm pit" thing last week! Made me chuckle! Have a good day darlingthing xxx

Don't forget collarbones and clavicles- they are really really cool! And ribs! all these things that lay...hidden....under the surface!

Sorry to hear that the job is stressful at the moment - its sounds like you do such an important thing for the kids so don't get brought down by parents who obviously have distinct problems of their own!

Hey sunflower,

Sounds like you've had a busy few weeks!! Sorry to hear about the trouble with work :( and i think it's great that you recognise when things start going downhill (OCD) and you take action to stop it from getting worse. Getting your friends and family on board is a great move too! They can be there to support you :)

And kudos on finding hip bones and arm pits!! I found a photo of myself the other day where i had distinctive collarbones and it got me all inspired :p haha, keep up the great work!!

Kate xx

Hey Sunshine....

Just wanted to give ya a big ^5 for doing the work you do. It takes a very special person. I have two very normal boys and always wonder how parents or workers that have kids with disabilities handle it....meanwhile I feel like losing it sometimes over the stupidest things with my animals. So here's to you (((((((SUNFLOWER)))))))).

Have a great day and keep up the great work. You are a ray of sunshine on here!

jjjay - Thanks mate--Just a bit stressed at the moment. I love my job, dont get me wrong :) Wish I could help the parents but I'm only there to support the kiddies!

Heyy Katiebug! Thanks for the kind words :D I'm hoping the OCD will die down once work settles a little :p And I'm glad you found some photo inspiration! I have my prom pictures from when I was 16 taped to my wall!

Flumebear <3 Thanks darlin' thing. I feel better about it today. Had a good shift this morning and had my hair brushed by a down syndrome boy I have. He's learnt to sign and say my name which made me day :D Even if he calls me "Nana" instead of Hana ;) Thanks again bubs--You've made me smile xxx

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Good morning my soon-to-be-skinny lovelies!

Had a much better morning. I do loves my job most of the time :D Got a shift with a 16 year old today (eep!) so hopefully he'll like me. Feel like I'm on trial with the older ones sometimes! Going to shoot some pool and play air hockey I think--then watch wrestling!

I think that you should add more protein to your meals.. it's not always about calories.. it's about what kind of calories and there should always be a proper proportion of proetin/carb/fat so that you're body's blood sugar remains stable.. this way you don't get as hungry and you burn fat more effectively.
snack in stead of wieght watcher's cake.

Here are some examples of snacks

- An apple with 4-5 almonds,
- an apple with a table spoon of natural peanutbutter
- Raw veggies dipped into hummus
- boiled egg + 6-8 strawberries
- olives + veggies
- fresh blueberries in plain yougurt

Ideas for breakfast

- plain oat meal (no sugar) with a boiled egg
- egg white omlette with mushrooms, onions, green peppers, tomato
- 1 slice of whole wheat toast + tbls peanutbutter

you can lots of chicken / fish varieties for lunch or dinner

i love tuna in mustard, a bit of hot sauce, low fat mayo, + pickles with salad

basically you gotta cut all the white sugar, pasta, bread, salt and unhealthy fats.. don't worry too too much about calories...

and i always put fresh lemon juice into my water.. helps to flush the toxins and fat out of your system

Thanks lovelies!! Slept for 10 hours on my day off! Didnt wake up til after 10am! Loved ittt. Now it's back to 6am starts though! Ahhh well :p

Cocopuff-- thanks for the advice but the diet I've been following has been working since January so I'm pretty set in my ways as far as my carb intake goes. I'm still dropping 2-2.5 pounds a week right now and that is more than enough. Never tried apple with PB but I shall give that a shot though! Thank you :)

I'm due on (TMI!) so I've put on like 2lbs when I checked this morning. Not going to stress about it at all cus I know it'll vanish (hopefully!) by Tuesdays weigh in. Stupid time of the month!

Eating has been okayish but had a bar of choccie the other day. I don't even *like* chocolate. Mental. Just eating for the sake of eating. Still always at 1200 or under but just not healthy choices I guess. Hopefully the weight I've put on will go by my next weigh in.

Yesterday looked like this:

Breakfast: sammich (250)
Lunch: rice (250)
Dinner: Kiev, new potatoes (450) garlic bread (100)
Snacks: bar of chocolate (180) satsuma (40)

Total: 1270
Exercise: 30 min walk

Today!

Breakfast:
Lunch: rye crackers with philli x 4 (250)
Dinner:
Snacks:

Total:
Exercise:20 min fast walk

Glad you got a good night of rest on your day off! I personally can't even function on less than 9-10 hours every night. xD

Definitely don't worry about any gains during TOM. I'm sure it'll come right back off. :)

Keep up the great work!

ooooh I'd love a 10 hour sleep!! I can't physically sleep in beyond 7am nowdays as I usually get up at 5am for work each morning during the week.

Hope you have a good weekend!

Urghhh, I'm so hungover. *shudders* Whyyy do I drink so much!!?? Thank god I've had no work today!

Had a beaaaautiful nights sleep again last night but back to work tomorrow! Also been doing lots of moving out stuff. My life is in various boxes around the flat right now and I've just spent 2 hours cleaning the bathroom. Living with men is great until you have to clean the bathroom. I've never seen so many stray pubes lingering around the bath-tub. :ack2:

Still got lots of stuff to do as well. Back to work! Went out for brekkie this morning which was YUM and even AFTER eating, drinking this morning, when I jumped on the scales I weighed the same! Soooo, I'm thinking that I've maybe lost a little weight. Because I was the same weight as last week even though it's my time of the month and I had a big brekkie! Fingers crossed for Tuesday!

Got a 14 hour shift tomorrow (yeah, seriously):nopity: So my calories should be good for tomorrow.

Breakfast: lite bite breakfast (one sausage, egg (without yolk), one slice of toast, beans, grilled mushrooms, one slice bacon) - 400
Lunch: Still full from breakfast
Dinner:
Snacks:

Total:
Exercise:

im glad i dont have to clean your bathroom :leaving:

at least one more thing packed = 1 less thing you have to do. The 14 hour shift thing though is ugggh. :svengo:

Very true! Glad it's nearly time to move!!

God, I'm so tired. Like, exhausted. Work is kicking my butt. Left the house at 7:30am yesterday morning and got home at 22:30pm. It's just insane. :nopity:

This week I've been rubbish with eating, hence the lack of posting my food every day. It's been my time of the month (first one in like..3 months?!) so my body has gone insane and I've been stuffing my face with chocolate every day. Not been good.
However, I still lost a pound this week. Which is pretty cool.

And I tried on some jeans in a size 12 and they fit! And they are beeeautiful. Mum's buying them for me :D Yay for Hana.

Time to start doing food entries again--No more slacking. I have 3 weeks til my mum takes me on a MASSIVE shopping spree to say well done for all my hard work. I've just thrown out 80% of my wardrobe and I NEED to get clothes that fit. I think I can lose another 5lbs or so in 3 weeks so let's push for it!!

Breakfast: wholemeal pitta bread w/ hummous (150)
Lunch: wholemeal pitta bread w/ hummous (150)
Dinner:chicken kiev (300) wedges (250) salad (100)
Snack:no snacks

Total:950
Exercise: 30 min walk

LOOVE hummus. Yum yum yum! But be careful with the calories in it. A few months ago I was eating them so much - with my bread and apple and when I logged it in I was in for a biiiig surprise. 1/2 cup is like more than 200 cals. I also do tend to not understand the word 'moderation'. :) I haven't eating hummus in a while (esp since that week). It is MUCH better option than other processed stuff though, so its still good. I make my own, and it is one of the easiest things to make.

Have a great week, Hana. Talk to you soon.

Hey Hana :) glad that everything (weight-wise) is going well, how exciting to buy a whole new wardrobe!! :D keep up the great work :)

xx

Oh my god, I know!! I brought the reduced fat one and literally have a scraping of it on my pitta but it's very calorific! I'd like to make my own as well..How do you go about it? xxxx

Thanks Katiebug! Hope you're having a good week!!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Afternoon everyone. *yawns* Very sleepy Sunflower this afternoon. Was SO hot last night so had 4 hours sleep and then got up at 6am to go to work :( Things are looking up though--I've got another THREE kids to look after! All because I was recommended by another family *grins* Very pleased. And I Get paid on wednesday (next week!). Veryyyy exciting!

Don't know if the Yanks will know, but for you English people, I went into New Look today and got beauuuutiful size 14 jeans. They're even a little baggy! I thought I was a 12 on bottoms by now (all my leggings are 12's) but I checked the size of my last New Look jeans and they were a 16 and an 18. So that's pretty good :) I'll take some photos at some point.

Not weighing myself at all today. Only just finished my time of the month and I want a few days of perfect eating before I stress out about the scales. My mum is coming to take me to Oxford to shop ALLLLL day in about 3 weeks so hoping to drop 6 pounds. That's 2 a week though and now I'm "normal" weight for my height, it's getting a little harder. We shall see.

Love to all <3
