Put that down, fatty! (For the last time!!)

Hi guys :) 213lb today so another 2lbs off in the last few days. Slow and steady wins the race!!! Am off out meet family in a nearby town today and going for lunch but I'm starting at Fat Club again tonight with a friend from work so will have to have a salad or something light--probably for the best anyway as going swimming before Slimming World as well as my friend wants to join my pool! Yay for swimming friends. We are the exact same weight as well so will be a nice bit of competition. Food yesterday was perfect, completely on point. Will get lots of walking today and weigh in properly at Fat Club. This is where we find out my scales are wrong and I'm actually much fatter than I thought!!

We shall seeeeee!

Awesome drop! I'm happy that you are seeing good results for your wagon ride and swim workouts. Keep that ball rolling missy!

Hi lovely people--I've been so, stupidly busy. I'm sorry I've not been posting. I have had time some evenings but just haven't felt like getting on the computer. MUST IMPROVEEEE.

So, I've been a busy bee. I worked 20 hours at my second job last week so have earned a nice bit of extra cash for Amsterdam. We leave in 2 weeks and I'd like to drop another 5lbs in that time, hopefully. I'm at 212lb right now so another lb down from my last post. That's been the same on the scales for the last few days. I'm weighing in at a friend's house as we are both now doing the swimming together :D We went yesterday and are going again today and then again tomorrow. It's lovely as she drives so I'm not being a bus wanker anymore ^_^

So I'm 10lbs down from the start of my "new" journey. It's going slowly but I'm happy. I feel more toned and just generally healthier from all the swimming and not drinking. I can have a drink tomorrow night if I want--I do have an evening out with a friend planned to "celebrate" but honestly, I'm not really feeling it. I thought I'd be desperate for a drink but the longer I've gone without, the weirder it feels to think that I was drinking every night. *shrug* I'm hoping for some new habits to have formed as a result of my month off. I'm really proud of myself for doing it.

So, I have a big healthy food shop coming soon. I'm setting a budget for food this month as we spend far too much on buying new stuff when we have food in the fridge--I don't know what's reasonable for 2 adults? We eat a lot of fresh fruit and veg and don't like cheap meat but don't eat that much meat in general. What do you guys think?

I'm off swimming soon--Weighing in tomorrow for a midweek check and then properly on Monday before work with my friend. She lost 6lbs this week so I have a lot of competition! I'm feeling far more confident, fitting better in my clothes already and loving the swimming. I have webbed gloves to swim with for resistance training as well! I look ridiculous.

Anyway, catch up again soon! Will post again tomorrow as I have two glorious days off now.

Awesome job Hana! Since it's a positive I won't skip this part: I told you so! I'm so happy you've lost your desire to drink. I say do what you think is best tomorrow, but make a plan for after that ad stick to it. Not drinking has been a great change for you. Awesome job with food, drink, and swimming!

:hurray: Don´t mind me, I´m just standing here cheering you on. Great work, despite having worked so many hours! Really glad to hear the wine no longer owns your scale ,)

Hi sweetie, I am so impressed with your month off alcohol & your general awesomeness! I miss you when you're not about. We need your wonderful sense of humour & "joie de vivre" xoxoCate

Guess who's back?!!! :D
Really glad to see you're still logging and blogging!

Wondered if many familiar faces/names would be around still, I've seen a few of you in here already :)

Massive congratulations on the Dry January!

Well done on the 10lbs so far too, I just reweighed myself the other day and it was horrible, gained like 9lbs! I haven't posted on here since 2011, can you believe that?!
Just had a catch up through this thread, I saw those wedding pictures on FB, didn't notice any granny pants :)

If it helps I managed to rip some stitching on my uniform at work the other day, but fortunately no knickers on show!
