Week One: 199lbs to 194.5lbs (-4.5)
Week Two: 194.5lbs to 191.5 (-3)

So week two is over and I am now down 7.5lbs - really pleased with my 3lbs this week..seems quite a good amount for a week and quite sensibly done. Managed to get my calories up to 1400/1500 this week with a couple of days lower than that. Have done lots of exercise, mood has been good for the most part..alcohol has been insanely good.. I'm on 12 units for the week so that gives me two units today if I want a glass of wine. Weird to think that like 3 weeks ago I was drinking a bottle a night and two on weekends (80+ units). Cautiously optimistic that I have a handle on the problem but aware I have a stressful few weeks coming up so want to keep my drinking diary going and keep talking about it. I've managed a few weeks like this before and then gone back to old ways so want to be certain.

Off to a guided meditation class with my friend P tonight - it's only up the road and is very cheap so figured I'll give it a go. Never done anything like it before but he says it's good for organising thoughts and feeling a bit more in charge so hoping I'll enjoy it!

Here's to a good week 3!

Enjoy the class, I love them anyway. There's something lovely about relaxing in a room of people, really nice energy. Yes, bring on week 3!

Done well, guided meditation is wonderful. Done badly it´s annoying as all get out :p Hope you happened upon someone who knows their shit :)

Guided meditation is very good to do,once I was in meditation classes and my friend cracked a really funny joke and it was mighty hard to control the laughter and the instructer looked at us like anything! And finally the classes ended, meditation didn't go well but we enjoyed a lot there. Hope you will have fun.

Hi everyone - Abhay, luckily I didn't get the giggles!

It was very interesting - lovely quiet, peaceful, fairy light lit room and the ladies running it were very sweet. Sat on a little cushion thing and we did a "body session" so lots about finding anchors in your body, being present, etc etc. Went a bit over my head but felt very soothing sat in the warm in comfy clothes and being talked at with my eyes shut. Was free in the end as well so will go again - felt nice to have an hour of quiet to organise my thoughts. Did a work-out on my trampoline too.

Sounds like you had a relaxing hour! Always good to do something like that regularly. The better (and organized) our thoughts, the better the quality of everything in our life!

Hey Emily - all these ones are between 2-6 Cal's per pot! I had two for breakfast this morning on the train...so sweet and fillingggg.

Thanks for posting gorgeous people, am having a food baby (mostly celery and carrot baton baby) and am in bed like lovely mellow whale waiting for Yank to read me more Paradise Lost before bed. Will post my food for today tomorrow morning from work <3

He reads to me every night before bed - can't remember the last time I didn't fall asleep to him reading. In fact, when we first got together he made up a series of stories for me called The Adventures of Sunflower & Bear and for my 21st birthday he had them printed and made into a book. He reads me a lot of Dante and Paradise Lost - my favourites at the moment. I also found a little note with a line from my favourite poem on it in my coat pocket this morning. He is a good chap. He is quite often published in literary journals/magazines and had a collection of short stories published a few years ago by a publishing house in London. He's a very talented writer/story teller. I am loved, loved, loved.

Food yesterday was good - I've been making the same amounts for dinner and just giving Yank more so he was the size of a small village last night and very unhappy when he woke up this morning!! Tonight will be omelettes - not sure he can handle me over feeding him anymore!!

I'm doing that. To my wife. Not to you, that would be really weird and expensive. But mostly weird.

This made me laugh. DO IT. DO IT TODAY.
