Put DOWN the Nutella!

Finished day 3 of my training program, it fully kicked my ass. I've found it the hardest day so far- wondering if I'll be able to use my arms at all tomorrow! I'm sleepy now though from waking up so freakin early, arrrgh.

Pretty sure I've already lost weight this week, already looking forward to weigh in. You know it's going to be a good one when you can see you've lost even before half way through the week! Yay!

Ahh had a really bad food day today, think it was from being so sleepy. Husband just got home, I woke up while he was getting ready for work this morning and asked him what time that was, he was at work at 4am so that's how long I've been awake for. SO tired now, don't know if I want to go out tonight anymore. Not going to eat if I do anyway. I can still manage over a 4000cal deficit this week so should still maybe be able to lose 600g, that would be awesome. Then I'll still be keeping up with myself from this time last year lol. Think TOM is coming too, blah.

Another winning recipe, it looks like - with the banana french breadless. Looks easy, and I think my daughter would love it, given that she'll eat two whole bananas in one sitting (did I mention she's 2), and loves anything with "Su-bop" (syrup). I may use whole wheat flour, instead, but I'll be true to the spirit of it!

Don't worry about a bad day, it happens. I don't know who TOM is, but I'm guessing he's not a crowd favorite (or a Luz favorite, anyway).

Thanks Little John, haha actually that recipe surprised me a bit as it was my MUM that messaged me and was all 'ah I SOOO have to try that!' She doesn't say that about many, I sent her the omelette recipe and she was like... 'Pumpkin? With eggs?' Lol (Seriously though, if you haven't tried pumpkin with your eggs, get on it. Best combination!) Yea whole wheat flour will be fine, not even sure you'd be able to taste it!

I didn't know you had such a young daughter! How sweet!!

Ok so after yesterdays crazy food flop I'm fully back on it today! I still went out with everyone for dinner and just had a cup of tea, no one even blinked. I think most people were expecting me to have already eaten anyway- actually really glad I wasn't eating (and starving!), the dinner menu there is really different from the lunch menu and not much I could have eaten except for steak!

I'm in serious tricep pain today, that workout was freakin HARD. Today is shoulders and swimming- not sure how much fun swimming is going to be with my already sore triceps and my soon-to-be worn out shoulders. Eep!

3 perfect days this week, going to aim for 3 more. 6 perfect days is still awesome (even though the one bad day was a full on train wreck lol) I should still EASILY be able to lose 500-600g without a problem, unless my period messes with the scales really badly but don't think it should. Could even be more since I should have lost a couple hundred grams last week too, guess I'll just have to see!

Food plan for tomorrow- day 34 of 112

B- 2 eggs, 1/3 avocado, 1 piece of spelt wholemeal toast

French toast is my weakness. Okay maybe not the only one, but the only one on topic for here.

I have massive cookie sheet issues right now as I just wrecked the crap out of the cheap one I had, with scorch marks and now charred bits of pumpkin pie filling that seem to be welded to it.

MrVee- I love French toast too, I think it's because of the cinnamon more than anything else. LOVE cinnamon!

Mystic- Ehhhhhh the workout I just did was shoulders/ bis/ tris so if my triceps weren't obliterated before, they so are right now!!

Going to go for a swim now before the extra pain from the workout I just did sets in, not confident I'll be able to use my arms going into the afternoon lol.

Random exciting news, I've finally been contacted by my uni of choice for when we move- I might be able to do the first semester online and then switch to on campus from mid year next year after we move. Awesome! The advisor I've been in contact with will call me tomorrow or Thu about payment plans and which units I can do online.

Also trying to organise our holidays, seems it might be a problem for someone to pick us up from the airport either New years eve or the day before... kinda begging the siblings at the moment! Will see how that unfolds in the next few days I guess.

Breakfast was awesome today:

An oldie but a goodie! Chocolate (Oatmeal) Pudding: http://www.lucysfitlife.com/?p=1514

Ahhh So still haven't picked up right where I wanted to, I ate more than planned yesterday again. I'm THIS CLOSE to getting my chocolate cake recipe perfect, absolutely nailed the texture it's just not chocolately enough now. I also did round two of some cookies I'm trying to do which were a fail... Of course I tasted all the baking, and I couldn't seem to stop at one. Still managed a small deficit, and not baking until next week now! Going to get the deficit I want today AND tomorrow! I'll be finishing the week with a deficit of just over 3000cals so I technically SHOULD see a loss, fluid retention may be a problem though. Blah. Guess I'll have to wait n see!

Food plan for tomorrow (day 35 of 112)

Thanks Mystic!

Workout for the day is done, I survived day 5. Though now I feel like hiding under a rock until today is over, I'm so glad I don't have to work out tomorrow. My body feels wrecked lol.

Hi Lucy...wow loves those meals...I am not a fish personne but even the tuna looked great.......thinking I should move closer to you so that I can learn how to cook like that!!!! Good job on the perfect days!!! I am hoping some of that determination rubs off on me. Next time I go to the city I will buy some quenoa and give it a try to replace rice!

Meh, so a few food fails - they can be made up for with a few extra laps in the pool, or a boxing match with a kangaroo. Overall you're doing fantastic work! Keep it up!

Lol thanks guys. I know it's not going to affect anything in the long run, I just feel yuck right now. I so wanted a loss this week! Boo! Going to re-focus and get back to it. Keep trucking and all that.

Good morning all! I promise to be a ray of sunshine this week. Also going to push myself a little harder to get out of this funk- I KNOW I have a full perfect week in my future, hopefully here it comes!

Plan for tomorrow- Day 36 of 112

B- 2 eggs, 1 piece sourdough spelt wholemeal and 1/3 avocado

S- 2 wheat free crackers with 1/3 avocado

L- Tuna and bean mountain bread pies

S- 2 hardboiled eggs

D- Leftover salmon with salad and mountain bread chips

Exercise- Day 1 of my training program

Calories include 1 cup of almond milk for my 2 cups of coffee, I also drink 2 cups of tea during the day

Total calories: 1577 Total deficit: 797

Total deficit for the week: 797

Lol over maintenance or over your goal? I had 3 amazing days at the beginning of the week, then a HUGE blow out day (3900 cals, FTW!) then a maintenance and then another HUGE blow out day yesterday (3700) so that brought me even. Going to have a 1000cal deficit today and that will be the whole deficit for the week lol. I'm sure I'm retaining fluid like crazy so the scales are more than likely going to be hugely blown out tomorrow, I'll still weigh in but won't be taking to heart whatever it says. I know I can be less than I was last week by the end of next week! So yea, still plugging away... I know bad weeks happen! At least it's not like my OLD bad weeks (where I could easily go a whole 7000cals OVER maintenance! Can't believe I used to do that!)

Todays blog recipe is one of my fave cheat meals- it's a nut butter cookie in a mug: http://www.lucysfitlife.com/?p=1559

These are great because unlike a normal cookie, or just nut butter by itself, these are really filling. And taste like a real cookie. Wish I'd nailed/ revisited this recipe earlier on in the week, probably wouldn't have had the week I've had otherwise!

I was 2-400 over 1500 calories so I should still be under maintanance. One website recommended 1800 to lose weight for me so I SHOULD still be losing but very slow and the scale doesn't always follow the 'rules' haha.

I didn't mean to guilt you :) , just trying to cheer you up a little. Feel free to be as mean and ornery as you like if it helps. :reddevil:

3900 calories. I suppose the good news is that even such a number only does a limited amount of damage plus just two days later you were able to slash 200 calories from your diet. Good job. :D

People always say not to eat just to make yourself feel better, but those people should probably mind their own damned business. There's a lot worse things people do to make themselves feel better than eating a little too much. I suppose if you think maybe there's something a little different you could try next time, give it a shot. But otherwise, whatever. On to the next day. :cheers2:
