Put DOWN the Nutella!

Todays morning tea- was better than apple crumble IMO, probably because nut butters make me weak at the knees/ happy inside lol. It's the same s the banana the other day- 1 chopped apple, 1 tbsp almond butter, sprinkle of coconut and cinnamon... Baked 20mins at 180C. Had to wait longer for it than the baked banana, but still every bit as decadent.
 
Big thank you to everyone for the support :grouphug: I know I rarely say it but I really appreciate it! I'm unemployed and pretty much spend my days seated and home alone, it's nice still feeling connected to people and knowing people are wishing me well and having similar struggles. It's rough but I get through it- you guys make it a lot easier!

Ahh so I ended up being a bit bad this arvo, got into the rum balls I made (OMG. They are totally amazing!) Had 4, then had a tbsp of cashew butter and 2 pieces of my 100% rye sourdough with vegemite...which puts me over maintenance by around 700cals. I'm not worried as I know I will still have a good deficit this week- just wondering if I'll be retaining like crazy for weigh in! Grr I hope not! Hoping to have a full perfect week sometime soon...Possibly the new week as it's the end of month weigh in! Eek!
 
Luz, have you tried going to a chiropractor? I work for one now and we have people coming in with those kinds of issues often. There is muscle work they can do to help the tight muscles and can put your hip back into place. Just make sure when you call that they also do muscle work, some don't. And don't expect it to be 100% after one visit, especially since it's been a while. Your muscles get used to things being where they are and it takes some time to train them to hold an adjustment. Wish you lived here, my boss is really great and her specialty is sports and exercise related issues. I've never felt better since working here! lol
 
I would Mizzie, but there's no chiropractor in town! The nearest one is a 2.5 hr drive away and most people still suggest not going there and wait till they fly home for holidays. There's not even a physio in town right now! I hate living out here grr.


Ahhh so I'm majorly stressing right now, went into the kitchen this morning and one of the cats had done a big poo on the floor and there was a fair bit of blood in it... But they are all acting normal so I have no idea which one is responsible! I don't think they could have worms as they are strictly indoor but I'm going to worm them and then just watch them like a hawk. Argh.


Weigh in tomorrow, hope yesteday doesn't throw it out by much! Ended on a deficit of 4428 so should still get a loss- would love to see 64.9kgs but I might be retaining. grr.


Food plan for tomorrow- Day 22 of 112


B- 2 eggs, 1/3 avocado, 1 piece 100% rye soughdough

S- 2 wheat free crackers with 1/3 avocado

L- Quinoa tuna and vege bake

S- 2 hard boiled eggs

D- *Cheat Meal* 1 piece fish, salad, and mountain bread chips with uncheese. 2 ciders


Exercise- Swimming 30 mins


Calories include 1 cup almond milk for my 2 cups of coffee, also I have 2 cups of green tea during the day

Ahhhhh what a horrible day!!! Decided to take Luna to the vet as she was walking really tenderly, vet said she's very healthy but her intenstines may be inflamed as he thought they felt a bit lumpy. Have to keep her separate from the other cats for a few days, no food for her tonight and she has to be fed little bits of boiled chicken all day tomorrow. Got to make sure it's her and see if I can calm her stomach down and have it fix itself before putting her back with the other cats. 3 different meds to give her too! Oh, and as I was paying I dropped my phone and smashed the screen. Grrr. I have insurance on that though.

Now she's locked away she cries if I leave the room, but if I'm in the room all the other cats scratch at the door and cry for me to come out! Ahhhhhhhhhh. Cuz she's my favourite though I'm in the room with her right now lol.


Food was much less than planned, this stressed me out a bit so I really wasn't hungry but did make myself eat. Think my deficit was around 1050 or something, could've been more as I walked around a fair bit today.


So glad my husband has tomorrow off, I need several hours of cuddles. Plus he can hold her down while I medicate her!
 
Ah, sick cats. I've been around enough of them to know that they're their own special kind of awful. I do admit that when the boy is bad, he gets to wear a lampshade around the house. When the girl is bad, she's too dumb to know it.


Chin up, a bad day is just one day!
 
Oh poor you lucy, i say your leg must be really annoying, i know you cant do much idle but you should watch some good shows in the mean time,

Oh, poor kitty! It's so hard when they are sick! I know, our daughter tripped over our cat Ginny two weeks ago and broke her (Ginny's) leg. Poor girl has to have a cast for 6 weeks. Plus, they found an infected tooth, so we had to do a round of antibiotics. :( Hugs to you and your kitty, hope she feels better soon!!!
 
Little John- actually she's being a bit of a star patient, she just cries every few hours because she's lonely then after cuddling her for a few minutes she calms down again. Different story when I had to give her the liquid meds in the dropper, poor love... She hid in the corner afterward and wouldn't let me touch her!


Irish- I have a HUGE collection of shows we watch every week. I love Girls and Revenge, also watch Criminal Minds, Arrow, New Girl, 30 Rock, Dexter, Homeland, The Walking Dead, How I Met Your Mother, Misfits, Bob's Burgers... Haha husband loves his TV shows, it's how he chills out after work so hooked on a fair few at the moment. He has a heap more that he watches that I'm not in to as well.


Mizzie- Oh NO! It would be so hard having a pet with a broken limb, I don't even know how I'd manage if that happened here. Too many places they like to sleep require a bit of a climb!



New week!!! 800g from my goal for the month- it's a bit of a high goal to get to in a week, but I would be happy with a 600g loss which would bring me to 2kgs for the whole month. Getting ready to go for a swim soon!

She seems happy enough, she's lonely in the room but purrs n snuggles while we're in there. She's eating/ drinking too. Hasn't been to the bathroom yet though, and it's obvious she's uncomfortable when she walks. Poor little bub.
 
Good morning all!! Can't believe it's Saturday again already.


We've been invited out to a birthday dinner on Tue night so going to be as healthy as I possibly can until then (in case it ends up being a higher calorie meal- I'm not going to drink as I've had my cheat for the week). Breakfast this morning was good, I'm happy with my chocolate breakfast cookies now so I'll post that recipe up later in the week on my blog.


My poor kitty is still locked away, she's very lonely and gets so excited when anyone comes in to see her (sitting in there on the floor right now, she's sleeping wrapped around one of my legs!) She hasn't used the litter tray except for a wee so a bit worried about that, I don't know if it's because she's in pain or another reason. Might call the vet in the arvo if she still hasn't gone. She's loving living on the boiled chicken thighs I'm giving her!


Not any plans for the rest of the day, husband has the day off with me again so probably just watching stuff and chilling out.

Today was a bit of a fail food wise, just felt like snacking all day. Ended up going just over 800 cals over maintenance! Thinking about going for a swim before it gets dark to undo some of it. Was just on nut butter and sourdough spelt toast with vegemite. Why why why do I do it to myself?? I can still get a deficit of just over 4000 cals if I'm good the rest of the week, which I definitely plan to be!
 
It's always the nut butter, isn't it? Oh well. You had a stressful week so I'll let it slide this time.
