Put DOWN the Nutella!

Congratulations on the BMI drop! It's always fun to watch those categories change, at least for me, lol.

And have a fun day off! I love those, too!!

Can't imagine having to take cold showers....I really hope you can get that fixed soon. :/

Yea I love random numbers dropping, haha preferably weight but BMI/ measurements/ clothing size are always bonuses!!

Just had a couple of mountain bread pizzas for dinner, was going to eat soup but my husband ate the one I had left in the fridge... and decided if I was having a heavier day, have something that seems like a bit of a 'treat'... even though they were vege loaded and I still ended the day with a 767cal deficit lol.

Our hot water still hasn't been fixed... really hoping the plumber comes today, but not holding my breath!! Also was supposed to go to the physio today, and she was sick and they hadn't called me... grrrr.... little bit of frustration!

Just knocked off work. Had a pretty cruisy day- really like the new manager of our department! I think I'm being moved out of the bakery though, really hope not... If they make me change departments I think I'll be job hunting when back from holidays. Grr. They make everything so hard! So no idea if I'm in the bakery or not tomorrow. Also, I worked over the weekend and had Tue-Wed off last week, but because I'm on a Mon-Fri roster now I now have to work all week to get to my days off... So yea. 9 days straight. Which is pretty shitty if you ask me!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I may end up upping my cals, but for now I put my activity level as sitting most of the day in case I end up doing office work. If I'm in the bakery on my feet I'll be having another 200cal snack to bring up cals, but deficit will still be the same.

Ate a bit heavier today... not really a BAD thing as I felt like I needed it, just annoying because tomorrow is weigh in day and I reckon it'll affect it. Had a 375cal deficit and it was all healthy, just feel bloaty now. Arrgh. Really wanted to get to like 67.4 by tomorrow, I reckon I'm going to weigh in exactly the same cuz of today! Ended the week with a 5558cal deficit this week (which is still AWESOME by the way!)

Food plan for tomorrow[/b] (Day 22 of 84)- 3 weeks till holidays!!!! And 3 weeks of my 12 week challenge COMPLETED! Haven't missed a single workout, haven't eaten ANY junk food, and haven't eaten over maintenance even once!!

Wow, congratulations on those three weeks!! That sounds utterly fantastic... You are so hardcore, haha. Really, great job.... every single day, workouts, no junk food, and no overeating, all together, that's a super great accomplishment! :)

Keep up the good work!

Just weighed in... exactly the same as last week! Actually thought it was going to be a gain as I feel really bloated right now... Going to have to weigh in again next couple of days when the fluid goes! Grrr.

My aim for the next 3 weeks to get more veges in! I only get in a couple at night at the moment, so I think that when I get home from work every day I'm going to use the juicer instead of grabbing something random.

Afternoon all... Arrghghghghg I had the most frustrating day at work today!! We live in a mining/ sea port town and I was given a huge grocery order to pick for a ship today... It took me 6 hours and a heap of running around, I put the entire thing through the checkout and packed it for them and everything, all they had to do was come in, pick it up and pay. WELL... they came in and decided they didn't want half of it anymore as someone had already come in and done a shop! Was so pissed off, what a waste of time. The store manager was fuming too. Grrrr.

Husband is sick with a cold, and it's the second time he's been sick in 3 weeks... he's not eating healthy anymore (he was for a while) and pretty much gets nothing decent on any given day so told him he has to have juice with me every day. Haha he actually didn't mind! So I made a huge juice today- oranges, apples, celery, spinach and carrots. Was really nice and made about a litre, so I drank half and put the rest in the fridge for when he knocks off work. Going to juice every day now... Decided it's too difficult to work out calories for juice, so going to allow 200cals every day for it which shouldn't be too far off. I guess if it's more than that I shouldn't be too concerned anyway, it's all good stuff!! Going to weigh in again tomorrow...

One last thing- I'm booking 3 weeks of PT for Wade and myself while we are on holidays!! 10 sessions, so we will be working out every second day! Eeee!! Oh, and I was cleared by the physio yesterday too... don't have to go back.

Stepped on the scales repeatedly this morning and couldn't get anything accurate... got 68 once, then 67.2 like 3 times, then got 69 once, then 66.8. So I gave up because I had to get ready for work and can't keep jumping on and off the scales! So will try again tomorrow.

Argh had an awful sleep last night too.

Having today as my day off exercise... worked today and cooked all arvo so was on my feet FOREVER. So now my feet are sore! I made healthy nutella!!!!! And it's GOOD!! Just thought I'd share. I used this recipe: http://chocolatecoveredkatie.com/2012/01/09/better-than-nutella/

Thinking of taking tomorrow off work... less money for our holiday, but I've gone from not working on my feet for about 8 weeks to working 7 days straight on my feet... and my calves and feet and everything else is killing me. I'd hate to fuck my knees up again! Plus they've fully shafted me... I'm doing odd shitty jobs that no one else will do since they've taken me out of the bakery. I'm so angry! Will be job hunting when I get back from holidays. Grrrrrr.

Will post food a bit later, going to make sure I can take the day off.

Yay so have tomorrow off!!! And me being all stressed and exhausted just spent a heap of money on orthotic friendly shoes to wear on holidays... ARGH they are so damn expensive! I just got excited because I found some that aren't completely ugly! Got two pairs and it cost a small fortune... However was going to need them eventually so not much to say about it. Eh. Not long till holidays... I just feel really worn down and blah right now. Really hope I'm not getting sick!! Speaking of illness... my younger brother and sister both have hand foot and mouth, apparently there's a bit of a break out of it in my home town right now! Poor things are in a lot of pain.

Giving up on the scales this week, I don't like weighing myself every day and the result is different every time I step on! I adjusted my weight down slightly in fitday so I'm consuming what I still assume to be correct calories (only like, 15cals difference lol) but will leave my ticker alone and just give the scales a death stare every day. Hopefully next week they'll work (I have had this problem before and it does work random days...just not this week!)

Uhm btw, homemade nutella is just as addictive as real nutella, even if it doesn't have all the nasty stuff in it! YUM! Might have to find something to bake it into or something or I'm going to eat the whole batch!

Hm so today is turning out to be my 'heavy' food day for the week. Haha pretty much all I've eaten is homemade nutella and cheese!! (Also had some mountain bread!) So going for a swim later and having my vege juice, I think I'll end the day with around a 630cal deficit. Plan on smashing out the rest of the week perfectly with 1000cal deficits every day!

Definitely ended up being a heavy day! Holy moly.. thought I should come on here and fess up what I've eaten today....

Uhm... 130g homemade nutella (which came to a shocking 789cals!)

20g cheese

Then I had...

4 mountain bread made into 2 pizza bases topped with 80g cheese altogether

Then I went swimming but only for 15mins, getting a random sharp pain at the top of my shin. Grrr.

Then had my juice which was beetroot, carrots, apple and ginger (too much ginger, MAN. Was hard to get down... still, it's good for me right?)

THEN.... I had a handful of (weighed) dried cherries.... Then decided I wanted some more.. and some more... Ended up having 150g of cherries. Then I made the rest of the nutella into a bar thing and ate some of the mixture which was TOO NICE. Walked away from it... Then was a bit OMG, I'm being a crazy person, this is why you don't keep anything sweet in the house... So I quickly ripped open the rest of the bag of cherries into the bin, along with the slice. I have the weekend off, no WAY am I setting myself up for failure.

So in total, I only ate up to maintenance (somewhere around there, I think I was 50 or 100cals short, it's hard to tell when I make juice so I'll just say today was maintenance) but my thought process freaked me out a little. First 'bad' day I've had really... just goes to show how evilly addictive fructose is. And nutella, even if it's homemade and fructose free lol (I sweetened it with stevia). Going to re-focus and make the rest of this week AMAZING, I promise! Just makes me worry a bit more about going on holidays, this was in a controlled environment and I saw sense pretty quickly... And I'm going away with Wade who is INCREDIBLY unhealthy. Argh. Me=determined though, going to organise those personal training sessions for while we are away to keep me on track!

Way to huck it in the trash when it starts getting out of control!!!
smile.gif
I can really relate. I can't even have baking cocoa in the house, I'll turn it into junk and eat it! I try to make something healthy and will overeat it too... I can't keep things that I could potentially cook into junk in the house because I'll bake it up if I get outa control... it's a slower and slightly healthier relapse (when you have to take time to prepare it) but still.... not good. This is why white sugar.... maybe even white flour ? , will soon, no longer be a part of my household... (but I'm keeping honey... for my replacement sweetener, sure I can mess that up but it seems the lesser evil).

Hahaha there wasn't even any sugar involved! Except for the dried fruit, I think it felt like eating lollies and it freaked me out. So I got rid of them, haha! Don't think I would have eaten any more today, but I work tomorrow and then have the weekend off and I SO wasn't going to give myself the opportunity to sabotage myself then! I used whole oats and coconut in the bar I made too, so no flour. Haha don't even have normal flour in the house

Just quickly...! I weighed in this morning even after I said I wouldn't, and even after all I ate yesterday... was 67.3, which leads me to believe I was 67.2 the other day. So going to change my ticker to that! Yay! So managed a 900g loss last week! (Just took me till days after to freakin find out! Stupid scales!) Into the 140s too!

One last thing... I'm finally enrolling to study Naturopathy via correspondence! I was thinking about it yesterday and randomly got an email from the place I enquired after saying they were shutting down cases of people not signing up and I was listed... so they re-sent all my enrollment stuff. I was unsure about whether or not I'm an Aus citizen because my parents are New Zealanders, but I was born here and lived here my whole life and apparently after turning 10 I'm automatically a citizen... SO yea! Yay! I just don't have a proof of citizenship certificate. So goingn to apply for both at the same time, but the lady I was emailing said the tax department usually finds all that stuff for you on your behalf.

Hey people...! Work was boring today, kinda frustrating too actually. They made a big deal out of me working last weekend in the bakery when I'm supposed to be Mon-Fri and work on the shop floor now... Actually was told I'm not to set foot in the bakery again. Now the bakery has no weekend staff apart from the manager because it was ME covering them...and the store manager who said I'm not to work in there anymore was asking people if I'm working the fuckin weekend! Yea, sure, cuz I have no life and I only want to work. Actually really shitty I was taken out of there in the first place, but now they are messing me around! Ahhh normally on principle I would tell them to stick it, but I have hols coming up...so I said I'd work Sunday if they were desperate. Eh. So may only have tomorrow off. Or not lol.

Will be a little all over the place tomorrow, goin to a fair in the arvo with the store managers wife who I'm friends with. Not sure when though! Lazy dinner to reflect that...

Look what I made today!! Coconut butter! From this post on CCK: http://chocolatecoveredkatie.com/2011/01/26/make-your-own-coconut-butter/

From this:

To this in like 30 seconds... It says in the post it took her 3 minutes, mine like obliterated into liquid SUPER fast!

I poured some into chocolate moulds and put it in the fridge- was so smooth!

I did it in my vitamix, apparently you can do it in a food processor too but it takes much longer. If you haven't tried coconut butter, it has the smooth melty texture of chocolate with all the flavour of coconut. I like it in blocks as it's like a not-so-sweet white chocolate! You need to keep it in the fridge to keep it solid... Or you can use it in baking, or of course just eat it from the jar. YUM. :beating: Coconut!
