i always have bloodshot eyes after doing pushups.
somehow i feel pressure in my eyes.
it is becos of my breathing during pushups?
i kinda worried that i might burst a blood vessel or sth in my eyes...
definitely sounds like your are straining. relax the facial muscles, especially your eyes.
breathe in on the way down, gently exhale on the way up, after the midway point is reached (the peak exertion point).
I second the breathing normally during the exercise. You'll find that if you do, it becomes difficult to strain yourself in this way. If you don't breathe, you are placing a whole heck of a lot of stress on your upper body's vascular system.
