Right team purple - we are up and running.

The challange is starting - and we need a weight logged. We can use any Friday or Saturday weighing - so we can all decide whether to use today's weight or tomorrows.

The exercise points are easy. All we need to do is 5 hours of exercise over the week to grab maximum exercise points... LOL I should get my 5 hours done on day 1!!!

I have a 1 hour salsa lesson in the morning followed by a 1 hour zumba lesson.
At night - I am going to a salsa party which should be huge!!! The party theme is PURPLE - and my husband has had his hair dyed for the occasion...
I cannot imagine doing less than three hours of dancing there! The party starts at 8pm. There are going to be 4 DJs, a latin band (burundanga) and both my zumba teachers (who as also dancers and dance teachers) are doing line-ups - in other words throwing in a bit of zumba for us.

Even if I have a lazy time at the party - I will more than likely do some walking on Sunday which is my rest day.
On Monday there is always an hour of aerobics and two hours of zumba to look forward to - and the week goes on from there...

My maximum exercise points are pretty much guaranteed.

I should be able to log my food ok. I havent been doing that recently - but it is sheer laziness... I am never good at acknowledging my failings - and I must admit that my food control fell apart in the run up to Christmas - and I did not help matters by stopping weighing over that whole period. It is about time that I started to log my food again.

If I am really lucky I will stick to sensible food and not have any slip-ups to analyse... I know that it will help me to be good if I face up to the reasons for any slip-ups though.

Weight loss is always the hardest thing for me. I will try my best to do as well as I can.
 
It is Saturday morning here and I have been on the scales... My weight was a bit less than yesterday - so that is the weight that I have used. 11st 7.8 or 161.8 pounds.... I wish it was lower - but we are where we are...

Now all that I need to do is log my food and keep in tune with my failings and the reasons behind them and I will notch up some great points.

Has Saturday started for anyone else?

diet cola
lots of water
left over gammon stew - containing gammon, lentils, split peas, assorted pulses, carrots, onions, leeks, swede, parsnips, brussels sprouts, potato
Shape strawberry yoghurt
Shape raspberry yoghurt
1 banana
sugar free butterscotch
3 pork loin steaks, tin baked beans, dash of chili sauce
blueberries and low fat yoghurt

small glass of champagne - this was my big naughty for the day... I was at a party and refused a drink several times until pushed with "its good luck to drink the health of the birthday girl"... that was when I caved in.... Managed to be at the party for another 6 hours and only had diet cola after that...

Saturday started for me! I weighed in at 197.8lb this morning so I'll use that weight.

I see you're logging your food. Do we need to? I will no problem, just wondering if it's mandatory. :)

Ok food log for Saturday 1/18/14. Today is cheat day.
Breakfast: Strawberry yogurt
Lunch: Half Italian sub (take out)
PM Snack: A serving for pretzel four cheese nibblers
PM Snack Two: Handful of Gobstoppers (candy)
Dinner: Pork roast with potatoes.
Drinks: 2 liters water

I found 280.2 lbs on the scales this morning, which isn't too bad considering that I had ballooned back up to 295 after Christmas. Getting back into the swing of things. So that's my start weight.
Same question - is food logging mandatory? Because I've got my cheat days today, and mine would look absolutely horrible! *lol* - oh, and Omega, do you want me to put the scoresheets into a little table for everybody to make it a little less cluttered? :)

Yes - logging the food is mandatory for the 2 points.

Analysing the reason you had all the naughty things is private and need not be done in any posting. If you want the other point - you need to think about each naughty thing and the reason you chose to have it. We choose to eat and drink everything that we have - and this is the case on cheat days as well as strict days.

Thanks for the offer - but if we leave it in the current format it is easier to change things a bit as we go on... This week for instance the bonus will be potentially YYYYYYY yyyyyyy - next week it may be YYYYYYY or for that matter it may end up being YYYYYYY yyyyyyy AAAAAAA.

If I was better organised and had planned exactly where I was going I would be better able to accept your kind offer.
 
Okay, I will log then. Should do so anyway, I have slacked off in that aspect. :( It will just not look very good for today and tomorrow, I'm afraid.....lol

And that's fine - as long as we can get all the relevant information in there, it doesn't really make much of a difference. I just love messing with things. ;)
 
Logging always makes me be a lot more sensible - on both standard days and cheat days... It is a really good habit to get into - and I havent been logging my food for the last couple of months. I have gained a fair bit of weight in that time... It is like the logging is my conscience... It doesn't matter what it looks like to other people - I would be surprised if anyone goes through and looks at what we are all eating...
