Pull Up Bar?

Would anyone recommend a good Home pull up bar? It would be great if close grip chin ups could be done on them too. The main thing is I would like it to be under 100 bux. I dont care if it has to be mounted on a wall or ceiling, thats fine. ANd i sure dont want one that will scratch or rub on doorways since I just moved to a brand new home.

So if any of you have had a good experience with a certain brand would you let me know?! Thanks!:D

i got mine from my local walmart. it was 13 bucks. : ) look online if your walmart doesnt have them. it mounts into a doorway pretty easily and iv had mine for 8 months with no problems

I agree. The needlessly fancy ones run the tab up a bit, but there are $40- bars at many places. If your Wal-Mart doesn't have one, try a sporting goods store or even from eBay or something.

Yeah I got one at a sporting good store, Everlast brand I believe, it was 20 or 25 bucks and mounts in a doorway...or between any two posts. Works great.

I was wondering the same thing, how do they stay in the doorway?I'm starting College in a few months so I don't want to do anything that might damage the doors in my lodgings.

They have some that you need to screw in, but the better models just hook around the moldings of your door, leaving little to no damage...unless your moldings are made out of...I don't know, shaving cream or something stupid like that.
