pull day..

is it okay to do only barbell curls for my biceps?
because my bi's get really tired and i cant seem to do any more sets/reps..

I recommend switching to dumbells. You get more balanced muscles and you work the synergists. If it's a matter of getting tired, use a lighter weight.

I agree with man of steel; your biceps will be sufficiently targeted if you perform the exercises the right way. If you want to incorporate your biceps more in a movement, you'll need to use an underhand grip (chin ups; bent over rows etc). This will target your biceps more than if you opt for an overhand motion.

However; at the end of your routine...i think it's good to have a few sets of a bicep isolation. Drop the weight, do 2 or 3 sets just to clean up a bit.

Keep it consisten with your program goals. If you're routine consists of 6 - 8; keep the reps in that range or if you're routine consists of 8 - 10, again...keep it in that range.

I don't think you need to isolate and destroy your biceps and triceps to get them to grow and develop, but a small amount of isolation work will definitely help.
