ok ive been training for a littel over 2 months for my PST. its goign to be monday. so i am askign about energy and water consumption
my PST consist of:
500yrd swim <12:30
10 minute rest
max push ups(min 42) in 2 minutes
2min rest
max situps (min 50) in 2minutes
2min rest
max pull ups (min 6) no time limit, must be dead hang and cant letgo
10min rest
1 1/2 m run in <11:30 in boots and pants=completion
my concern is the run. what can i consume the night before and that morning to maximize my energy?
tuna for lunch tomorrow
plan on having a pasta w/ meatsauce dinner with water to drink. and a small salad with a littel itilian dressing ive been taking amino vital supliment packs before i work out
2g carbs 2400mg amino acids (bcaa's)
i take gnc mens sport vitamins 2times a day.
and i plan on a power bar about 30 mins before my test i think 45g carbs 9g protein
after my swim i plan on a rapid replenish drink 34g carbs and 45g protien.
plenty of rest the resaon i ask is my run tims is actually pretty close to the max allowed a few seconds off in the wrong direction and i could fail.
so whats a good source for a little extra energy?
and should i drnk water or a sports drink?
