Hey proxy, I know about being a poor college student. In those situations maybe you should try to limit it to like, 2 peices of pizza, with the grease blotted off, diet soda, and no chips. I know it's tough, especially when everyone around you is enjoying eating freely. My best friend/roommate has all kinds of goodies in our kitchen. She eats ice cream at night, has chips with her sandwiches, has cookies and muffins laying out in plain sight. There's a giant candy jar in my apartment right now filled with all kinds of gourmet chocolate she got for Christmas. Sometimes I think "I'll just have once chocolate." I haven't yet, and I wouldn't beat myself up if I had one, but I find that the more I resist and accept that this is my new lifestyle, the easier it gets. I do think having one treat a week is okay, as long as you try to "health it up," like cutting down on pizza portions and having diet soda instead of regular. Ugh, I know it sucks, but in the end think of how worth it it will be!
