Onto to Dinner
Salad with Rice Vinegar (absolutely abhor Rice Vinegar from now on)
mashed potato
1 glass of skim milk
1 wing of fried chicken
white rice
 
Hey proxy, I know about being a poor college student. In those situations maybe you should try to limit it to like, 2 peices of pizza, with the grease blotted off, diet soda, and no chips. I know it's tough, especially when everyone around you is enjoying eating freely. My best friend/roommate has all kinds of goodies in our kitchen. She eats ice cream at night, has chips with her sandwiches, has cookies and muffins laying out in plain sight. There's a giant candy jar in my apartment right now filled with all kinds of gourmet chocolate she got for Christmas. Sometimes I think "I'll just have once chocolate." I haven't yet, and I wouldn't beat myself up if I had one, but I find that the more I resist and accept that this is my new lifestyle, the easier it gets. I do think having one treat a week is okay, as long as you try to "health it up," like cutting down on pizza portions and having diet soda instead of regular. Ugh, I know it sucks, but in the end think of how worth it it will be!
 
Thanks Fuunkymonk.... I guess I'll switch to Diet Cola next time I have soda.

I excercised 30 minutes on the aerobics machine at target heart rate of 160... Burned around 300 calories..

I preceeded to work out my upper body including my arms, back, abs, and so forth with the weight machines, ab machines.

I used free weights to work on my biceps (so I far I can work 15 pounds per arm).

Afterwards I weighed myself, and I actually gained 1 pound. Im 193 pounds right - hey what gives? :eek:
 
Hey I wouldn't worry about 1 lb. It could have been water you drank. Or maybee even the exercise you did (I think I heard something about that before not too sure though). Also if you weighed later in the day your wt could be higher at that time. All I'm trying to say is don't worry, wait a day or so and get on this scales a little after you get up in the am but before you eat!!!
 
Hmmm.... I think your right rachels. That one pound could be just water I drank earlier in the day.

Salad with Italian Dressing
Small portion of pasta with beef
Small portion of red rice
Ham and Chicken Deli Sandwich with a dash of mayanoisse
1 slice of cream-pie :p
 
I worked out yesterday, but forgot to post...

30 minutes at 160 heart rate on aero-machine.
And then tried working on lower-body, but didnt do it enough, because the gym was going to close in 30 minutes and I still needed to shower.
 
Today I had for lunch
Indulged on Taco chips mix with beef, bean, a dash of cheese, and some veggie.
1 glass of skim milk
1 apple

I ordered Chinese with garlic beef, carrots, broccoli, and other veggies together in a nice tasty meal rice meal. :rolleyes:
 
Breakfast/Lunch

Had leftovers from the Chinese of last night....


I went to the Gym and worked out 30 minutes on the aero-bike, but I was not impressed. The average heart-rate I was going at was 150, and I need it to be 160.... Afterwards I worked on a bunch of upper body machines and curl-ups.... Still dissapointed with my 30 min of aero-bike I decided to go for a 10 minute blitz on the bike, and I was happy to note I managed to stay at least 160 for 10 minutes and worked up a good sweat.....

I weighed myself ----- Im still 192 pounds! :mad:

For dinner
1 glass of skim milk
some brocolli
some rice with vegatables
mashed potato with gravy
chicken and turkey with some gravy
indulged on a quasadiea with everything on it save jalopenos
1 bowl of salad with Italian Dressing

And that was my dinner...... What do you guys think of that?

A cup of Chicken Noodle Soup
 
Talked with a health fitness specialist and she suggested I try to increase my time at a sustained heart rate of 160 for 20 minutes.... and in the future possibly an hour, to make sure that Im burning my fat..... Ok... So Im going to do that :p . But I guess step by step, I will have to do incremental increase in weight..... For now I can sustain my heart rate at 160 for 10 minutes.... I'll see if I could push it to 20 minutes at 160......
 
Went to a meeting today and we had pizza again..... This time I tried limiting to myself to chicken wings, and pizza flavors other than pepporoni (too greasy). I must say I had my fill for the day after that - 5 slices..... I drank water this time and no soda or chips.... So it's a start I guess. But no time to excercise today - I have a article due tommorow that I just did an interview for today! :eek: Catcha later!
 
Another day - and today Im going to burn all the fat from yesterday's food.

Got some good news and bad news... Bad news is I didnt have time to excercise today.... Good news is I had a very healthy dinner.

1 glass of Minute Maid Kiwi Strawberry Drink


Today I excercised and went on the aero-bicycle for 30 minutes, including 20 minutes constantly at my target heart rate of 160. I also tried upper body workout machines. I also did laid-back bicycle crunches for my abs..... What do you guys think?
 
wow all that excersize,....mental note,..I must get to the gym tonight...I must!
