Protien Powder

Is it possible to use your chocolate flavored protein powder instead of cocoa in receipes? I wonder if it would taste the same.
 
I would think try it in a small amount and see how it works.
 
The protein powder tends to bind a little bit... So you could probably substitute it for some of the flour in the recipe instead. Use a little less cocoa powder, but keep some of it in the recipe for flavor. Or, if you're trying to use it in a recipe that doesn't contain flour, mix the protein powder with the cocoa and add a few tsps more of the liquid. Hope that works for you!
