Protein shakes

I want to start taking a supplement purely for muscle repair after weight training but wonder if there is any kind of testosterone or manly stuff in them? as I don't want to take that.

If anyone knows any supplements like that, let me know!

Thanks

Not sure of any Supplements Like That! but I have been researching a lot into Shakeology to see if its really worth the Hype and the price! I have not tried it myself yet... but will do so once i recieve my order! In regards to your question- shakeology is for both genders and does not effect to hormone levels. Actually it more of a meal replacement like for breakfast or a Snack or Lunch!

I suggest researching on it... I found it convincing, who knows you might to!

Hi,

I'm pretty new to all the protein supplements, but i know on OptimusProtein.com they do show all the ingredients in the shakes so it may tell you there. :)

UK food and supplement laws are going to be unfamiliar to me, here in the USA.

But they should all list the ingredients, and a brand like Optimum Nutrition should be available over there.
Most 100% pure whey protein powders won't have anything special in them, like the 'testosterone' boosters (which don't work, by the way, so you're smart to avoid that hype). Just protein, a couple grams of carbs and maybe a gram of fat.

I know some advocare stuff you can take that you dn't have to worry about that. I have taken protein shakes for awhile and never had to worry about nothing crazy lol. I definitely understand your concern as a woman.

Hello

someone who may give the better suggestion for the build-up the feeble muscles, how can improve these, need for more comments and recipe for this.

I personally love the Beachbody Results and Recovery drink. My husband and I have it on hand all the time. He drinks it after every workout and it has helped him lean out and not feel as sore. (removed)

My uncle took Creatine when I was younger and it seemed to help him bulk up, but he did not retain the muscle. I've recently been taking some protein-based shakes to help me slim up. They seem to be working. I haven't really lost a lot of weight (I don't have all that much to lose at 5'11" and 185 lbs), but my waistline has shrunk a good bit. Can fit back in my old pants.
