Protein Shakes

Hey all what up? What is all this Jazz about protein shakes I see on every post. Every one takes them except me!! lol am i missing something here. I just put in solid time and try to stay consisent. Thats what works for me. : ). Also, i know you can only take in so much protein each meal and that the average person gets excess protein in their daily diet.

the 'average' person doesn't exercise, so they have no need for too much protein. only enough to prevent long periods of catabolism. if you lift or do intense cardio, 1gram of bodyweight per lb is ideal. most people, including myself, supplement their diet with a protein shake or two, to help make the daily quota.
 
right, its not something you have to take to see results. even though ppl use them, they should try to use them as less as possible. solid food first and foremost ;)
