Protein question

Hello,

I just went to the grocery store and saw in the bulk section that they sold Soy protein powder, so i bought some and it gives 5g of protein per tablespoon.

I am gooing to try and uses this for awhile and see what happens. My questions is that:

Should i take this every day? I am only going to take one shake a day.

I was also thinking that for breakfast, i would have milk with 2 tablespoons of the powder, with old fashioned oatmeal and a banana for breakfast.

Would that be ok?

Also after workout shake, i will only put 2 spoons of it, but what else does it need in it?

thanks

Some simple carbs with the powder is supposed to be good. Try bananas???
Also i hear your body can continue burning fat for up to 30 minutes after you stop working so you should wait 30 mins before eating anything.....Then others say eat right after working out.

Soy isn't the kind of protein you want, unless you understand the current research and you're willing to risk the possibility that you'll boost estrogen and lower testosterone.

2 spoons, 10g of protein, is not enough either. you'll want 20-35g of protein post workout, preferably whey or a whey blend...not soy.

Exactly...Soy protein will raise your estrogen levels.

Personally i would look for some type of Whey protein and dont get all into fancy labels and marketing schemes/gimmicks. Just some good ole whey protein and quality meats in your diest will do the trick.
