PROOF your stomach can return after having a baby

Huge congrats on your loss...you look great :D

I dont agree with this 100% though...I lost 150lbs, and although I lost it over a space of a year, I lost it by eating healthy and exercising..and not matter how much I want it..I have excess skin..which In my mind does not result in a 'normal' body (whatever normal is nowadays :)!!!)

I dont mean to be a douche, or start an argument..I just felt that it was a bit misleading..although definately not in your case!!!

Congrats again!

:seeya:

Oh I agree, I was more figuratively speaking towards women who just had babies and have the huge excess of belly [which I had, I still looked pregnant a good two months later lol] and the overall weight gain from being pregnant... although I have yet to meet another woman who gained as much as I did when pregnant lol.

Congrats on the weight loss! :)

Thankyou THANKYOU for posting those pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im a mum too, and im dying to get my stomach back, and some people tell me 'ill never get it back' and you have totally made me feel VERY positive about it all now that it can be done!!!!
My stomach currently, is like the one in your JULY 08 pic..
Love the tattoo's too :)

Keep at it girl and don't ever let anyone tell you it can't be done because YES it so can! :)

I was always told my stomach would never go back down, that my skin would be saggy and would never get back to what it was. It's been one year [a little under] since I started my workout. Ive lost 85lbs [which I gained while pregnant. My son is now 14months old] and I am in week 3 of P90X and man has it been a long time since I have finally started to feel strong again!

With some determination and motivation your body can always go back to normal no matter HOW much you gained. It's hard work but if you really want it, you can make it happen!

Great Job with the P90X

With that type of transformation/success you could actually earn $$$$ representing the product. I am an independent Beachbody Coach. PM me if you want to know how.

You did awesome! You must not have had very bad stretch marks from your pregnancy if they disappeared that much.

With my first 2 pregnancies I didn't have very bad stretch marks, and even though I was overweight I think at that point in time if I had started my weight loss journey I probably would have had a nice flat, cute tummy without the excess skin - just like yours!

But then I had twins. I love them to death, but they permanently ruined the skin of my belly I think. HUGE, DEEP, PAINFUL stretch marks covered my tummy. And while they have faded in color and shrunk quite a bit, the skin is never going to be the same for me. I fear I'm doomed to having an elephant's butt hanging from my belly for the rest of my life, even if underneath it my tummy gets completely flat and fat free!

Again, GREAT job!
