AHey all!

I thought I'd start my own weight loss diary and food/weight journal. Full of my ups and ever increasing downs! I think my main issues are support and motivation as I'm a massive emotional eater and I need to de-sensify emotions & food! They do not go hand in hand. Food is just fuel for the body and I need to embed this sooner rather then later!

Anyway I'll update this as I go :) any tips and advice along the way please help! It's all mutely appreciated! :)

Separating emotions and food is a great start, so many people are comfort eaters and will eat things like ice cream and cookies when feeling down and it's a bad cycle to get in because it's a fire that fuels itself.

If you find losing weight hard, try using a calorie calculator online to work out your daily calorie needs and keep a journal of your calories per day, that will get you on track to have a regular and steady loss, if you can manage that and feel better about yourself the emotional eating will become less necessary.

AI have about 50 apps I log my calories my exercise my weight everyday so I know exactly what I'm doing. I find it easy to loose weight when my emotions are stable. As soon as I feel sad I just go right down hill and I'll just want chocolate. I have loads of healthy snacks, friut yoghurts wheatabix etc etc but I'll just want chocolate. My boyfriend bought me a lockable tin to put chocolate in n he keeps the key. If he thinks it's ok to have one I'll have one, small 80calorie mini chocolate bars but if left out I'd eat the lot!

I do hate being female!! I managed to detach myself from food last year so just need to do it again! :)

AHad a pretty poor week after 4 VERY good weeks, got a bit of a flu'y bug so feeling rubbish as well. I don't want to beat myself up about it too much as we all have down time & illness so I just need to pick myself back up and push through it.

Hoping to get a cross trainer tonight as my exercise bike broke a month ago so need lil help with the cardio at home whilst the airs still cold (I get major chest pain in cold air) I'll wait for warmer weather to go out running!
