Make sure he (hubby) eats the pie, not fair when some men can eat so much I only dated one man that was thinner than me and the poor guy was 6.2 and only weighed 9 stone 7lbs.

Gee I have never wanted Tom :D to visit so much as today.

No not yet Sara, but I'm back down to 155 lb so I don't know what is happening. Day 25 in the cycle so can't be far off.:confused:
Yesterday I felt rotten.... so hungry. I cooked up my I kilo of carrots and ate them all in one sitting so that I wouldn't have a binge. I got that urge that I needed to stuff my face badly...so I figured that before I pig out, I had to eat a kilo of vegetables that are 320 cals per kilo or under first. Well it worked because I was very full but not that heavy full I get from junk food.
By 5 pm I had 1140 cals so I didn't eat anything else. That 1140 would have normaly been an entree.:eek:

Today I went a bought some more vegetables and had some for breakfast.( have been up since 5 am) I just wash, chop and microwave them, then I make up a low fat chicken cup a soup and drizzle it over the veggies and sprinkle some thia seasoning.....it's so nice and quick.

Anyway I hope you don't mind me ranting on your diary....when your ready we could start a new one called Sara and Blitzed. :D

How did the pie turn out?
 
Hi Sara, good to hear about the 1/2 pound, keep it up. Well TOM arrived late last night finally :) and I managed not to binge on the weekend, I did have a little extra but not too much. Still weighed in at 155 lb this morning so that was Ok. :D

I DID IT!!! I lost my first 10lbs, with one extra for good measure:) It was the first time since Feb, I went to the Dr and didn't need the extra 50lb chunk. That felt great!

So I lost 16 3/4" coming primarily off my waist:) More actually since I was 6lbs heavier at my highest.

I think I'd like to lose 3" off everywhere in my belly area and hips and about 1" off everywhere

AND I BROKE 140!!!!!! I think it be time for some pictures! It's been 2 years since I was in the 30's with out being pregnant. (Lost a bunch in the first tri. last time)

Sara, you are doing great.

We have some similarities. I started at 150 at the New Year (156 last summer) and now hover between 136-139, but I'm two inches shorter.

So what are the secrets to your success?
 
Patty you are doing awesome! To answer your question...

I didn't really feel I was doing that much. Then I realized it was all the little things adding up. Like I no longer drink hot smoothies from the coffe shop about 5 times a week. I now eat out a month what i use to eat weekly. I play outside with the kids more. We walk alot. MWF- I take my younger two on a walk that lasts close to an hour after my oldest catches her bus. On Tu and Th I walk my middle to preschool instead. But every night we walk to the park and stop at the pond. Mind you, I live on campus and so is the park and pond so it's not all that far.

I guess it's the good old fashioned advice. I'm eating less and moving more. I just started alternating gym days with DH, but it's only been twice so I don't think that counts.

glad u r on your way to goal! Seem like alot of gals here hv 135 as goal. WIsh I am taller, sigh!
