Progression With Pics

I will have my beginning picture uploaded in a couple of hours. I'll try to remember to take a new picture first thing after I get up in the morning, once a week. A little background:

I've always been into working out and playing sports. I've also always really liked eating. My body tends to adapt well to working out, but I also lose a lot of muscle and gain fat around my midsection when I stop working out. I typically go through this same process every year. I'll workout for about 6 months and get to a point where I'm happy and then stop for a month or two. This time the down time lasted a lot longer than usual. I stopped working out this past July and finally got back in the gym on 12/29/08.

I go 5 days a week. Four days are lifting and one day is cardio. We will start our flag football league in the spring which will add a second cardio day on Sundays. I workout M-F and completely take the weekend off to recoup. As of right now I am mainly looking to stop the fat gain while also getting my muslce tone back. Right now I'm planning on eating whatever I want to keep my calories somewhat up so I can get most of my muscle back quickly. My plan is to then cut that off at the end of February and get on my strict diet.

Right now I fluctuate between 207-211. I hope to be down to 205-208 with a lot more muscle by the end of February and the ultimate goal is to be between 190-200 (haven't decided yet) by mid summer.

If anybody is interested in my specific diet plan (now or later) and/or excercise routine just let me know.

Pic to come soon (It isn't much at this point....)

Now that I think of it, I've got a pic from our canoe trip last summer which is when I stopped working out so I will post that too for a reference point to show how much I've gone down the tube these past 6 months.

Hopefully this works. Here are the two pictures I was talking about. One was taken on 12/20/08 and the other was taken in July at our canoe trip right when I last worked out. I am on the very left.

Sick as in good? I dunno. I have lost pretty much all of my muscle and replaced it with some love handles. I'm happy with how I looked in the second picture and hope to be back there soon. I plan on taking another update picture tomorrow morning since I didn't get to it last Monday.

I'm with Stefarina. I'm perving. hahaaa! But nah, on a serious note, if building muscle is your goal, then get to it. Just remember to post your pix later so that the ladies here on the forum can... ummm... get inspired. Yah.. that's it. ;) jk Good luck.
