Progress so far... -37 pounds

Hi Heather, I just saw your post in the summer challenge. If you really want to do it then you can have my place. I don't have much weight to lose now so I may even be finished with weight loss before the challenge ends and will feel that I am letting my team down. I will be quite happy just cheering you on and doing the challenges anyway just to get to my goal. Let me know if you want to and I will get your name changed for mine.

Hey eyckmans! Really it's up to you! It would be fun to do and pretty motivating. I'm in some other challenges too though, so it's not a huge deal.
 
Good job so far

I changed my way of eating a lot. The quality of food I was eating was terrible! Lots of eating out at restaurants. I went from eating around 2000-2500 calories a day to 1200-1500 a day. I worked out a lot at first, but not as much anymore because I walk so much at my job, at least 3.5 miles when I work. I can't believe how bad I was looking. I couldn't see a difference until I put those pictures side by side. I'm still kind of in shock!


I might be wrong, but I think that walking while at work will not burn as many calories as a steady walk. I walk sometimes 6 miles a day at my job and at the time was eating reduced calories and there was no major change in weight loss, I had to add a different element to my excercise routine to jump the burn up, and since I quit working out as much I managed to put some weight back on while still walking 5-6 miles a day. I might be wrong though, just my observances of my self. Good luck.
 
Hi Heather. I really would be quite happy for you to take over the challenge. My weight loss has slowed right down for the last couple of weeks. I think I am hitting a bit of a plateau and I really don't want to let my side down. Let me know and I will post something in the challenge forum.

I’m trying to become more fashionable. I usually just wear what feels comfortable to me, as in how much fat can I hide with clothes… I bought 3 dresses yesterday, and I’m terrified I wont wear them, even though I really like them. Heres on of the dresses. You can wear it as a skirt or dress! Sorry I look unpolished, I just got out of the pool.
What do you think? Should I start wearing dresses?

You look amazing! I can tell the difference everywhere, but especially your arms and waist look much smaller. Great job!
 
At least another 25 pounds to go. I hope I can do it!

I can't believe how disgusting I was. Look at all of that cellulite! I know I still have a lot on my legs but I still can't believe my back was that bad. I wonder what I'll look like in 25 more pounds..
 
You have done a great job so far!!! I love seeing before and after pics. It gives real motivation to a lot of people.
