Progress pics before and after.

the first pic is back at the begining of august 2009 I am not sure what my body fat percentage was

this one is today I am 175 lbs and according to the machine they have at the gym 12.1% body fat

I am hoping to get down to around 10% by the end of january,

Do you all think it is possible I have just upped my workout schedule to 5-6 days a week from the 2-3 I was doing most of the time since september.

and in the last 2-3 weeks I have lost 2% body fat I was at 14.3% right before christmas
 
thanks but I am having a little trouble with the next 1 percent.
or atleast to me it looks like it.

I am also starting to think my gyms way of measuring body fat is all messed up because the other day it said 13% even though I lost another 2-3 pounds and look slimmer


Also anyone got any ideas on how I can make my skin tighten up a little faster.

I started using the suana about a week and a half ago but not sure if the sauna actually tightens or not.

Plus today I started rubbing lotion with aloe vera in it because I heard that can help.

I only ask because it kind of feels like my love handles are mostly just skin now and not fat like they did before. Not sure If I am right but I can really grab a hold of them and pull them and kind of move it around and I could not before.

funny thing is the body fat testing thing at the gym said I am getting fatter and am up to 14.9% body fat

well the hand held body fat tester says I am now 16% body fat today and here is a pic from today is that possible

Now I have been watching my food intake and calories and also switched up my routine and have been doing low weight high reps for the past 2 1/2 weeks I have also kicked my cardio up even more.

according to the machine I am up 4% body fat in the past month and a half.

Now I haven't been seeing the results I want fast enough but I am pretty sure I am not going up in fat. Any ideas on why it is saying I am.

when I look at the two newest pictures back to back from jan24 and today it looks like my love handles have gotten a little smaller but not sure.

Is it possible i am not noticing much difference because of loose skin and that the fat under is gone but just the skin hasn't tightened up yet.

If so what will help the most I have been putting on lotion that has aloe in it.

I think I broke through the wall I was having trouble with will post pics next monday.


I did measure my biceps today though and they where 16 1/2 inches around and they where 14 1/2 inches around back in August.

So not to bad of growth.
 
Good progress so far.

Try and get your bodyfat measured using calipers rather than the handheld machines, because as far as I know they aren't really very accurate at all.

Calipers are supposed to be one of the most accessible and accurate methods as far as I know. There are other methods where you are submerged in water and stuff, but obviously that's a lot harder to find than a set of £30 calipers.
 
this one is today, not exactly where I was hoping to be so far. I am pretty much staying the exact same weight but getting more mass and cut.

I am dissatisfied with my stomach but I think a lot of it is excess skin because it feels a lot looser the it did before when I grab it like there is still fat there but not as much of it but the skin has tightened back up yet.


any ideas on if that could be it and what I can do to help it tighten faster.

I started putting aloe-vera lotion on about two weeks ago and started using a loofa when washing today because I read that helps tighten it a little. I also use the sauna before and after my workout while I stretch. I have heard guys say this helps but not sure if it really does.

any ideas on if it looks like loose skin or not also any ideas on how to tighten the skin are appreciated.
