Progress (not sure how much of a difference I see though)

Here are my befores, and in-betweens.

I dropped 20-30ish pounds over 8 weeks. I stuck to a healthy carb diet, and did cardio every day along with some light weight training.

In case you want a little more info, I'm 5'7.5", 21 years old, started out in the 200-210lbs range, and am now in the 180-185lbs range (I hate how much it varies). I'm still struggling to see myself as a smaller person, and still consider myself very obese. I know these are some issues that I have to deal with myself, and my family and friends say I look a lot better so far, but I'm going to need some more results before I believe them I think. Let me know what you think though, and please be honest :)

(don't mind the PJ bottoms haha)

I'll update here as I go, adding more pics and info whenever I think there's something worth adding or whenever anyone wants some.

YEP!! i see the difference in your midsection the most! I'm sure there was more progress in your legs and arms, just can't tell with these photos!

good job! do you mind sharing what you did?

I've started at 199, and at 190 now, and I've been doing cardio every day and eating a calorie deficit diet. Got any tips?!

I definitely see a difference too. Keep at it! You are really doing wonderful and remember not all 'gains' are made on the scale. Looking good!:coolgleamA:

Well, to be honest, I refused to count calories. I hate the math of it, and I knew I wouldn't stick to it. For the first little bit I had no starches, so no sweets, breads, or anything like that. Still had lots of fruits and veggies though. I eventually added back whole grains and stuff. I made sure I drank lots of water, and ate as much as I could so I wouldn't be hungry. That was my "diet" - not easy, but simple to follow.

For exercise I started walking on my treadmill everyday for an hour, and kept upping the speed til I was running a little so I would never get used to it. It had to always be challenging. Every other day I did weight training for my entire body at home with free weights - low weight, high reps. I also did other things that I found fun like DDR and Wii Fit.

I'm not a supplement person, but before I lost any weight I tried this drink stuff (SlimQuick, maybe?) that made me feel horrible. It was supposed to help women lose weight, but seized up my joints and made me feel awful. I ditched it, and the only thing I took was a chewable multivitamin.

Great job, you can definetly see a big difference. You look nice and healthy in your "after" photos. Good luck on your journey and stick to these boards for support.

Thanks everyone :)

One thing I forgot @eymediaoutlet was that I took fiber. I've never had... issues in that area or anything haha, but taking a teaspoon of Metamucil three times a day made me always feel full and kept everything running smoothly. My justification was that people use "cleanses" to jumpstart their weightloss, but doing something like this would be like making sure everything stays nice and "clean" the entire time. I hope that's helpful.

I see big differences. You should be proud of your progress thus far. All the right areas are decreasing. Be confident, you're on the road to a healthier you and have gone a long way. You don't look obese at all. Let your mind embrace your new reality. Good luck.

I see a really big difference, congrats on your weight loss so far, and best of luck to you as you continue this journey!

can tell a difference big time even with you wearing the black in the first picture...but more important how do you feel:sifone:

Thanks again everyone :)

I was off it for a while, but I'm back in and wanted to include my measurements for future reference. Right now, I'm 43-34-40 (measured at the smallest part of the waist and the largest part of the hip). My underbust measurement is about 35.5". I have to admit I'm a little disappointed at how little is coming off my breasts, but I guess I shouldn't complain. As you can probably tell from the pics, I carry most of my weight on my upper half, so I'm hoping to lose another 6" or so from my waist and at least 3" from my bust. Unfortunately my hips are carrying almost no weight now, so I'll be lucky to get them to 38". So I guess my goal measurements would be 38-28-38, but I'll be shocked if I can get my bust that tiny.

WOW! Such a huge difference and weight loss in 2 months, CONGRATS! I know you posted about what you did to lose the weight, but do you mind maybe giving an example of what you ate on a given day? I'd looove to see such amazing results as you!

wow...there is definitely a big difference....good luck in your future endeavors as well...hopefully they will be just as successful as this one has been so far...
